Oh -- and to whoever mentioned it -- May 21 (Ascension Day) was a Federal holiday in Germany, but today is not. That does not mean some business did not give people today off, just that the Federal government is officially open.

Thank You xyzzy!

It is. They had off Thursday so everyone over there takes off Friday (hence term, bridge day).
They will all be back in the office on Monday wondering where the heck all the Americans are. |

You'll have plenty of time to rest on the flight watching New Adventures of Old Christine and classic Frazier's such as when Niles first meets Daphne. Ok you'll likely be stuck in the middle seat. :(

This was one of the longest work weeks I've had in awhile. Hate working 5 nights in a row. I was trying to be the best PTLA (part time lazy a$$) but that didn't work.
I had to deal with a cheating customer. One broken windshield/delayed flight. Two kids barfing in the gate area. Mutiple flights departing at the same time. Overbooked and oversold flights with zero options and begging for volunteers. Sore and tired feet. I'm exhausted. Thank god I'm off until Sunday night. Glad you have the weekend to recover some -- your feet need some TLC!! Just got home after 2 hrs of mostly waiting around for my son & his friends to set up for a gig tonight. I am officially a 'roadie' mom after loading up my SUV to the gills w/unbelieveably huge & heavy equipment. (Did not drive anywhere all day - car was loaded last night, -- for fear of either damaging said equipment or blowing a tire!) |

Glad to hear that the extractions went smoothly. They didn't pull the other two at the same time? When my daughter had hers done -- all four came out at the same time. Lots of ice cream & soft foods!

I know my son will need to get his done in the next year or so. My daughter's mouth was apparently much 'advanced' for her age & the wisdom teeth roots were pretty entrenched already, and was a somewhat complicated surgery, but turned out fine. |

Yes I am. Flying out Saturday morning (keeping my fingers crossed that I don't have to take the redeye Friday night) and flying back home Sunday morning to work that night.
And I wonder why I'm tired. :D

I wish I would have had me some of that earlier this week when I had a cleaning. Just when I thought I was done, the hygienist started scraping my front teeth and gums as if I killed her puppy. I told her if she didn't stop, I was going to start crying.

I said screw it on trying to do work this afternoon so I went to the garden center and finally found the flowers I've been looking for. Now it's hot and humid outside but I got to get them in the ground before the rain tomorrow.

Good for you -- so you wouldn't have problems later on. Also, may as well get the expense out of the way all at once!
