are you going to share with us what the issue with the place is, or have you already done so and in the box blitzes that occur I missed it ;)

That one.

My dad also has horror stories about the Hilton AMS. Not going there.

I posted some of it from the BB while I was there. I'll look for the answer I received from the GM and post it.

Sorry I would not have taken it, because it would punish me AND my two seat mates. ;)

I usually don't ask men since there are size issues with middle seats. But the two that I had to move had no choice in the matter. I had to get this mother and her three kids together. I just told the two that we were moving that they had a choice: take the voucher outside of the plane or board, get moved by force and receive nothing.....they were both smart and took the voucher before getting on.

I hate doing this stuff but this woman had three kids under the age of 5.

I didn't know Amtrak trains were fast enough to be damaged by deer (or cause damage to deer).

Need to tell your PR firm that a EWR hub is necessarily located at EWR. ;)

I'm not getting on another DL/NW 752 until I am a plat - they "hurt" my upgrade percentage.

The Kettles starting flying this week. Had a very difficult time finding volunteers to take a bump Thursday night. Only one person jumped at the chance to fly First Class (24hrs later) with a $300 travel voucher.

24 hours is (unfortunately) a long time for a $300 TCV and an F seat.

It is time for a mojito. I got the stirrings mix, rum, and club soda. The one good thing about DL is their signature cocktails.

I'm not sure I agree with that assessment.

I don't drink soda at all (except club soda). I'm not into sugar or artificial sweeteners.

IMO, it's not woth $100 for me to sit in a middle on a transcon at all. $400 or 500 and now were talking. ;)

Century Global Airways currently operates out of Terminal B in the B-3 concourse, which is located wholly within the city limits of Newark. ;)

Terminal A is the one located on the line. When you check in at the AA counter, you are in Elizabeth, but once you enter the TSA security line for the A-1 concourse you are in beautiful Newark.

Depending on what I have going on, I can usually change my schedule very easily, but $300 is usually not enough for me to delay for 24 hours.

We have a new Bahama Breeze that opened in Wayne, NJ and they have some good mojitos, a little sweet, but good.

I looked at the criteria used to generate the rankings. What exactly is, "Are there move-over laws in the state?" My guess is that's a "keep right except to pass" law. NJ has such a law but nobody seems to either follow or enforce it. That's one thing I wish they would enforce. The double fines/points for tickets in a 65mph zone are absurd, though.

Try CA, it's by far the worst place of this. They have a law, yet all the slow drivers insist on squatting in the left lane. I finally figured it out though. In the minds of the idiots, the left lane is the HOV lane... even when there is no HOV lane. :(

The ticket counter advises the customer that he must turn in the certificate or we would have to downgrade him back to his original class of service: Y. He storms off and now I get to deal with the problem, as the GA in charge of the flight.

He should know that trick only works with paper tickets. Not that I would have any experience with it.

The delay caused me to miss my EUA'd NW flights, but the NW non-elite desk transferred me to the DL desk and forced open an oversold flight with no change fees or penalties. I currently am in a middle seat on a DL 752 for the first segmeht, but I am arriving at my destination within 3 hours of my originally scheduled arrival on a day when many flights are oversold. er

I flew on DL for the first time yesterday and I have to say, I was kind of impressed. The service was nice, everything was on time and I couldn't complain since I made $400 on Thursday and almost managed to make $1200.

It is prime Kettle season. Flying SFO-SLC-EWR-PHX on the first day of a long weekend was not the smartest of ideas. At least most of it was in F.

I am alive folks, just slammed. Details were posted which I imagine everyone has seen. I'm taking payment ahead of tiem to make it easy and people should just bring cash for alcohol.

It's 5pm and i just woke up... and that's only because someone called to invite me to do drinks/movies with friends in a few hours.

I need to goto Target. I dunno why, I just do. Target has everything I "need."
