No op-up for me :(

That flight looked so perfect for an op-up. Sorry.

Maybe on the way home you'll get lucky.

Apparently, teh  flu has resulted in incredible front-cabin availability on AM. I just snagged 2x IAH-MEX-GRU on AM for peak season (New Year's). Haven't decided yet if I want to stay in Brazil or head to Punta Del Este or SCL.

Yep, I plan to get a 38 seater here this 'month' its the good medium between tiny and large(50 is large for such route)

edit: make that a 36 seater.

I'm starting to max out on 1000mi runs. I'm saving up for an HS 748 Srs 2B, so I can start hitting big cities in Egypt and Turkey.

I already have one HS 748

It is making me bundles of cash on ATL run....and some others you can see my routes.
I need to get a few more 50+ and then can move into the Tu gas burners.
Amazing how many people in ABI want to go to hotlanta. No idea why. Maybe it is my growing route network and 100% connecting passengers. I do not know the math or logic behind AM, some things make sense and some just don't make any at all.

The Tu-134 actually looks pretty decent, by 1981 standards.

Hehe... I have three. But I just burned a lot of cash to set up a 2nd hub. Now, I think that might have been a pre-mature move. Will see.

Anyways, I'm winding down my first AM world. I have basically done most of the routes from my existing hubs that'd make sense. I tried maximizing "profits" on all the short-haul routes will multiple flights, but then the maintenance costs on all the planes are eating into REAL profits.

I have just named my aircraft in honor of colpuck's airline.

You had a decent cushion at the top of the rankings. After ordering 2x AIDC X-2s yesterday, I've decided it's bigger aircraft from now on out. Diminishing returns on the 36 seaters at the moment...

With all this knowledge coming out of the Soviet world, does anyone want to change the start aircraft being used for 2.0? I thought B1900D's would be fun to start with, but I'm willing to listen to other non-obscure options. IMO, ATR-72's are too big when dealing with a full-world map.

rj135 available? small gas guzzler! plentiful for a real startup but hard to make a profit in reality anyway.

maybe a Fairchild Hiller F-27F..... they used to be common in some areas of the world, a solid performer

B1900s are pretty small, so will take a long time to get some revenue. Perhaps something like a Dash-8 or ATR-42? Something with at least 30 seats. Even Shorts 360 are okay.

ERJ-135ER or LR's are available. So are 145's in both flavors.

I can't see them in my world due to time I guess...what is the spec sheet like on the 135's?
