It didn't work in 1.0, despite a few people's complaints.

It's called collusion - each alliance member competes with non-alliance member on a set number of routes.

Once you're inactive for a while, I think it removes you.

I am already evaluating my hub strategy for world 2.0. I have some ideas that I think will work out nicely.

Me too. And I will join you in Europe with RK Atlantic based in LHR. And we will fight for dominance of that continent! Hehe... :D

For those who want to hub in Europe, please look elsewhere other than LHR and FRA. CDG, AMS, MAD, MUC, etc are all still available.

It was/is me. I kinda abandoned it. I didn't receive a warning from the AM staff for leaving it alone this time if they removed me. I was suspecting that v1 world was going to be disbanded once v2 was up and running. I just didn't/don't have the gumption to play AM. :o:rolleyes:

FWIW, I just logged in see my airline still there. Barely in front of AeroflOtter.

Perhaps the problem is that the management is drunk in addition to the passengers. :D:rolleyes:

I think the two continents to avoid are S. America and Australiasia, since neither have a lot of huge airports.

Central America does look nice though.

All of my MNL flights are continuations of ATL-Asia flights. I needed a place that was convenient to burn off remaining hours on those aircraft. Full disclosure: ATL-PEK-MNL is in the future.

I abandoned plans for SYD-LAX after I saw that you started it. I have the plane on order and no place to put it; want it cheap?

I played around with a focus city at PTY once. It wasn't awful, but the US and Europe beat it hands down.
