Evening Box! All settled in back at home - AUA was awesome. All our upgrades came through (one at the last minute), and we had great flight crews.

I posted pics on FB if anyone is interested. I can send a link for those not on FB. :)

Now a few days at home, then back to FTW on Monday.

I was listening to a haunting rendition of ABBA's "The Winner Takes It All" played on an American Indian flute. Thank god a couple F-16's or F-18's(they were F-somethings) flew over and drowned it out.^

In better news, I'm now watching the Marble Rye episode of Seinfeld.

However, they did this only after reserving seats for elites.

This has been confirmed pretty much since they announced the new program.

Who all is going to PDX on Saturday? More to the point, where are you staying and does anyone have a spare bed in their room? I don't really care about the hotel points and I'll pay half.

For years now, I've held on to a set of patches (missile and bomb patches from the manufacturers, unit logos, command logos, deployment patches) from my time in uniform. At one point, I wanted to place them up and down the sleeves of a logo jacket from my unit. I never got a chance to buy the jacket.

I decided that despite my non-pilot-ness, a helmet bag is the way to go. At 18" x 20", it's practically perfect for one or two night trips too. Details and photos to follow...the bag is going on my birthday/Christmas wishlist. :)

Aloha box. Another thrilling day of .

Apparently my hotel room exists in some sort of inter-tropical convergence zone. Why you ask? Because the difference between 73 and 74 on my thermostat is actually between 64 and 82 in real world range.

What the .

I hate hotel room a/c's. I'm either freezing or dying of the heat.

Have you seen any action on your post, from CO, over your Paid F, Sat in Y trip?
