I submitted my ride to/from the DC Do and joined AGR after the trip - got a 250-point email statement bonus but no rail points yet.

I joined AGR, said I'd get a card after my first trip, went from nothing to Select in one trip :D

it is not wallet candy, it is drawer candy, no need for such in my wallet!

I have a fairly large amount of so-called drawer candy; they all go in the same drawer with the much more useful drink coupons.

There sometimes is a lag between the posting of redeemable and Rail points. The Rail points should appear shortly.

As far as I know, the only way to credit to both accounts would be to have two separate tickets, i.e., MET-NYP and NYP-BOS. Out of those two, the only one that would be eligible for OnePass credit would be NYP-BOS/BBY. Given that MET-NYP likely is less than $100 and is not one of the 500 point-eligible Acela city pairs, you would earn the minimum 100 regular and Rail points for that segment, plus any applicable regular point bonus.

I haven't had a chance to review the latest Starwood promos in detail, but do all stays/nights for the rest of the year count toward elite status for both 2009 and 2010, or do the rollover nights only count in excess of whatever threshold you attain during the remainder of 2009 (i.e., if you make Plat, only the nights you earn beyond Plat rollover)?

The way I read the promos all of them counted towards next year. The promos are designed to help people retain status this year and remain loyal next year.

Ok; so, my stays for the remainder of the year count for both the 2009 and 2010 program years? That's a good deal.

Co sent me a message. Day of departure upgrades will be sold before elites are upgraded.

However, they did this only after reserving seats for elites.

Here is to never seeing 1b again. Oh yah and walk up f buyers will be taking away from elite upgrades instead of the buy ups.

I forget the details. There are two promos and you can only sign up for one. Since I'm SPG gold via Amex and I don't stay very often neither of the promos will do anything for me.
