exit row, no upgrade?!

Wheelchair, seems a growing number of people yes. It is really bad on the SAABs :(

Upgrade? Me? You crack me up.:D If I ever report an upgrade, there has surely been shenanigans involved. Or a kidney donation. Probably both.

It did get quiet so maybe he did get it started. I'm sure her father doesn't like the boy, especially if you include sterotypes.

Pink bathroom from he!! is looking a bit less he!!ish now that everthing is grouted up. Interesting patch of white tile on the one wall. Found a temp way to make the ceiling look better. I lucked out that the grill for the new ceiling fan fits in the old broken ceiling fan so I don't have to look at the rusty old grill.

I'd be up for that too -- I bet he didn't think of The B:rolleyes:x when he bought tix. How  of him. BTW, there's a great restaurant almost across the street from the theater.

Actually, this was a ticket offered to me so I didn't even think about Teh Box....a thousand apologies! I'll be there with Ms. GadFly and a couple friends and we'll be having dinner before the show in the vegetarian place across the street (is that the restaurant you meant Xyzzy?).

Right now, Ms. GadFly knows we're going to a show but she has no idea who we're seeing and I'm going to do my best to keep it a secret until the last possible moment. She's completely in love with Colbert and is going to go nuts when she finds out it's him.

Guess what I'm back. The box is a great reality check. Ask for  get  yes I was in 4F, I am suprised at the general lack of 4f jokes but the beef spare rib ( which was all that was left) was decent.

Doesn't matter - why would that be national news in any case? ;)

Comair sucks. Just getting to BNA, so still well more than an hour before dinner.

That'll be a great surprise for Ms. GadFly, for sure!^

I'm planning to go w/my step-mom -- she can go to the CB Theatre box office & pick up the tkts. I don't know about the vegetarian place, but my step-mom probably does as she used to work in that area.

It might be noteworthy if it involved an interesting celebrity type!;)

At least you got home safely.^ All this talk about food got me hungry -- had to get some sushi out of the fridge to snack on!:p

Spare rib or short rib? I've had the short rib. Is the spare rib something new?

I just had a weird one. I noticed a new job posting from Thursday for one company that has my resume in the system but I never clicked on "apply for this positon" before. So I did for this one and it say's I've already applied for it and my resume has been forwarded. I'm assuming this is a rare case of an auto search matching my resume to the position late last week. I'll apply for the simular position in the NY office and see what it says.

Evening, Box. Made it back from my brief backcountry vacation in the Rockies in one piece, only to find that there was a ~60 page backlog in posts. Viva la PWP!

^ to spending quality time in the mountains with my dad.
 to getting altitude sickness in the backcountry and having to cut the backpacking portion short. Hard to hike with a 40-lb pack when the only calories you can keep down are from Gatorade.
^ to the weather gods
^ to the scenery
^ to the hotels I spent points with. On the way into/out of RMNP, a rather nice HIX in Loveland.
^ to Apple and MLB, for making it possible to listen to the Cardinals while driving across Nebraska.
And ^ to Mrs. bdjohns1 for letting me out for a week when I'm already on 75% business travel.
