Oy. Shift started at 6p. First call at 6:03, a Hispanic gentleman who worked at a Japanese restaurant. The Japanese owner was attempting to translate for me. It. Didn't. Work.
The must amusing part of this whole surreal event is that the patient shared a name with a famous dictator. The presentation at the hospital was classic. :cool: Second call was for someone who drank "sour milk." Turns out that's not what happened at all. Their tongue was swollen, which was making it difficult for them to talk. They were having an allergic reaction to soy milk. :eek: ... what a night. |
