Just landed at EWR to a voice mail saying we would get a $250 voucher because they would have oversold by 1.

No comprende. You took yourself off the flight in question.

Greetings from the PClub above EWR Dunkin'.

It's toasty up here.

Still recovering from ZRH? I caught up on the Box last night after getting home to BNA.*

* Hope your taxi delay at JFK was shorter than mine - my flight on the CR2 ended up exceeding the 2hr 45min block time.

In my mind, this is the only reason needed by anyone to avoid JFK. I wouldn't fly out of JFK unless I had a gun to my head...and even then, I would seriously consider saying no.

ETA: The last time I transited JFK was 2000 and 2001. On December 26th of this year, I will be proudly JFK-free for nine years.

Don't get us (the four FTers who were on that flight) started on the absolute disaster that's Passport Control and Baggage Control at JFK. Very apparent that the staff and airport didn't know their elbows from their *****.

55,000 RDMs for $301.50 plus a trip to ZRH wasn't bad. However, I can see why there was the need on DL's part to add that final 25,000 bonus RDMs in to the mix to provide incentive in flying the route through JFK.

Laptop migration complete except for the photo library. Gotta save something for tomorrow.

Congrats on the AMS-MEM flight. DL's CR9's have a more comfortable seat than the NW CR9's check the operator of the flight. ASA, Skywest and Comair all have the DL seat.

I'll be in one of those NW CR9's next Saturday  at least I am up front, whatever that is worth.

Operated by Mesaba Aviation

The NW CR9 F seats are not THAT bad and certainly much better than alternatives like sitting in the back or being on a CR2 where there is no front cabin.

I am in 1A, looks to have limitless pitch, or is the Fa right in front of you in jumpseat like on an ERJ? I have avoided CRJs till now.

I hate NJT. Their schedule from EWR is ridiculously bad.

I love Porter Air. I have no reason to fly CO to Canada any more.

I was from the A310 to JFK's taxi-stand at T-4 in 15 minutes flat. It's about the quickest I have ever transited immigration/customs anywhere, ever. There was no cab line, either, and traffic on the Van Wyck wasn't too bad.

Assuming my LGA-CLE-IAH goes well, I should consider buying a lottery ticket.

There is a closet in front of 1A so while there is a little extra legroom, but it's inches and not feet.

I've made similar time coming in on CM before. JFK is horrendous for DL and only moderately intolerable for everyone else. Flying on B6, KE, UA or AA isn't a particularly bad airport experience at all there.

Still sitting at EWR. Train is still 5 minutes away. Have I mentioned that I hate NJT's schedule?
