For you I'd do shenanigans. You can keep your kidney, I only take cash. :D

Guess what I'm back. The box is a great reality check. Ask for  get  yes I was in 4F, I am suprised at the general lack of 4f jokes but the beef spare rib ( which was all that was left) was decent.

I usually give the people seated in 2B, the 2B or Not 2B speech. Some laugh, others look at me like I'm nuts. I don't do any 4F jokes, just because I don't think most people would get it.

Tonight was actually a fun evening. Might have been because I wasn't paired working with "You aren't a team player".

Up early tomorrow since the football coach has nothing better to do than hold practice at 10am. I'm the taxi my son calls when he needs a ride.

Good night Box.

2Bis my seat of choice in F. I've gotten that speech more times than I can remember. What impresses me is if they can recite the whole soliloquy.

G'night "teh" box.

And when do I learn this? As you're about to head off to Baggage Service Boot Camp.;):D

I think someone died on my DL flight last night. I was sleeping in F when I thought I heard the FA's in the forward galley talking about a medical emergency, then saying that the woman had died. I also thought I heard the captain announce that there was a medical emergency and that we might have to divert. I had noise canceling headphones on and was deeply asleep, but awoke about an hour and a half before landing, so I thought that I had dream eveeything because all seemed normal. After we landed, however, I was looking out the window to get the tail number and noticed an ambulance pull up and two paramedics go aboard.

Also, the guy in the seat next to me who had his bare feet up on the bulkhead ended up being in the lav during landing. The pilots did not announce landing until about five minutes before, so the crew was rushed and somehow didn't notice that the seat was empty before landing. All in all, very bizarre.

I never even knew they had a lot. I've only ever parked on the street.

My DVR is set to record comedy central every Monday - Thursday starting at 11:00 and has been for years. There's a great reason that Jon stewart has won 2 peabody and 12 emmy awards....and I'm not even sure how many Colbert has won.

Combined, they probably offer some of the most honest and unabridged versions of the news out there. The Daily Show truly shows the absurdity of the 24 hour cable news networks while The Colbert Report is relentless in satarizing the "Keith Olbermans" and "Sean Hannitys" of the world. I'd highly recommend trying them out for a week or two....I'm sure you'll be hooked.

Take a peek at their wikipedia pages (especially Colbert's) to see some of the cultural impact they've had.
I know who they are and what they do. I just don't have the time or inclination to ever plan to watch anything (The last TV show I actually planned to watch was Seinfeld). I don't have a DVR, and if I did I'm sure it would either be empty and unprogrammed or be filled with unwatched stuff it thought I'd like to see but never got around to.

Very interesting.

Sounds like an extra day of vacation. I so could use a day off today but it is off to work for me. At least with the majority of places closed, I wont have many calls at work today. Today is treated like Sunday in the town I live in and thus most personal business are closed today.

One of the leather jackets worn by Henry Winkler on Happy Days was on display at Planet Hollywood here in Phoenix. After it closed (Oct. '99) who knows what happened to it. It's probably hanging in one of the few remaining restaurants. I know there were several used throughout the production of the show. I'm sure Henry kept at least one for himself.

I did some research. They've got one of his jackets, along with one Ted Knight wore on the Mary Tyler Moore show. Neither of these is on display any more. The pop culture exhibit is quite small and for some  reason they've now got a lot of sports memorabilia there.

I honestly think it's time for the airlines to put a nice little sign on the bulkheads with "please no feet on the wall"
