Marta why are you running on a 20 minute schedule when there are a ton of people on it.

Didn't I post the same thing earlier Saturday on Twitter? I told you!

It amazes me that MARTA runs the normal reduced weekend schedule on a weekend like this. Yesterday probably had as many, if not more, people taking MARTA to get to downtown or midtown for several large festivals and two major college football games. Yet the stupid 15-20 minute frequencies were running yesterday like a normal Saturday when the system has hardly anyone on it. Five Points was as packed yesterday as I've ever seen it during a weekday rush hour when I was through there. My total transit time yesterday from Peachtree Center to Edgewood/Candler Park was right at an hour because of long waits between trains. For those not familiar with our transit system, that routing involves transiting only 6 stations, most around a mile apart (or less), and one transfer of train. On a weekday it would take around 20 minutes, if even that.

But then, this is Atlanta and Georgia. I've learned that the way things run here tends to defy logic and reason.

Tell me how you really feel. Marta was packed with vt and bama folks leaving town. Turns out the westin was the official vt hotel.

Hrm. I'm going to have to do research to see how to get a mod evicted.:-:

I'm on track for over 125k BIS miles this year - an all time high for me.

I'd blame the B:rolleyes::-:.

Aloha box on this fine Sunday morning.

Spent yesterday at the beach. Perfect day. :-: Today is dedicated to yard work.

I had an interesting revelation, which further helps my paid for :-: sat in  thread. Apparently Y, BM fares don't show up on the upgrade list on the pda site. I'm on a Y, BM* fare for my flight tomorrow and I'm not on the list. Interesting.

Also, if this really is KIX, I'm going to call shenanigans on rkkwan, because this is a CS 738, not CO. :-:

The good parts of Ghost are now in BESR.

When they did the fare bucket change a few months ago that all changed. B/M upgrades don't show up but Y's still do. This being since B/Ms are now capacity controlled.

I dot really pay attention to that stuff as I don't book those fares, unless I have meetings then I am on DL.

Every Y/B instant upgrade I've ever had has shown up on the upgrade list.

Interesting. I didn't realize the B upgrades don't show anymore. I haven't flown a B fare since they started the capacity controls on those, but have two on Friday.

We won't even discuss how many combined work/personal flights I have between now and the end of the year. The next two weeks are slow, with only 3 flights each. After that it's crazy. I've got the work schedule from Hell going on the next 4-5 months, with two clients trying to get ready for a go live of their new payroll system in December/January (one of which is many, many months behind schedule), another high profile project that's taking far more time than it really should, and then fortunately, a fairly easy client that I just kicked off that will hopefully remain low stress for at least the next six months.

So far my best estimate is I've still got at least 75 flights left before December 31, and if I double up a few weeks and hit two clients in the same week, it may be closer to 100.

CU is an upgrade bucket; AN is not in general so it makes sense that they don't show now. I suppose it would be nice for CO to fix that but I doubt they will bother.

Had breakfast at Fran's this morning. Pretty good.

Sitting at the SkyDome now watching BP. There is a balcony out back with great views of the Air Show. I'm :D.

Sorry for the late reply. Upgrading my computer and backing up my files and then went out with a short notice last night.

Yes, that was KIX, the 99th airport I've flown in or out of (on NH to HKG). The bridge and the water should make it pretty easy to figure out, as KIX is on a man-made island. I think the other possible choice would be the new NGO.

COFreqFlyer - It's N26232, one of the 9 GUM-based 738s.

Nice - sounds like you have a busy few months ahead of you!

I certainly never thought that my number would come even close to the numbers that many other FTers put in; it's just a pretty big number for me, especially since it's all personal. :)

That's about as many flights as I generally take in an entire year.
