I'm sure I'll get a  and  at some point. Then I'll explain things like 1K, CR1s, and SWUs, and I'll get an even larger . That's usually followed by me saying "Where would you like to go next year on vacation? I can probably get us there in first or business class."

That is what I tell people when they look at me like I am crazy. I fly business or better, have fun in coach! ;)

OU lost. all is right in the world.

OSU won and the bulldogs are headed home with their head between their tail. Busy weekend at work too! With this win I am sure the rest of the weekends will continue to be crazy for gameday. We have three home games in a row!

This happened to someone at the DO as well, he got a call on the bus from one of the events asking where he was, he was being called at the gate :D

This happened to a friend leaving LAS many years ago after coming to comdex. He finally got on the flight, I believe his travel agent bad for the change!

Going to say goodbye to the NW partnership in style — just booked an itinerary with multiple DC-9s for late September. Might as well get a few last flights on them before DL retires them and I have no status on DL/NW.

Are you going to the NW Goodbye DO?

Any interest in the goodbye to WP Do in three weekends?

Was thinking the same thing. Are you going to it?

I am beat, just finish a 16 hour first date. WOW is all I got to say. Need to go take a nap!

Which DO? There is an IAH one hosted by CJ1120, an EWR/NYC one hosted by me and, of course, the Star Mega DO :p

There is a DB who is sitting next to the power outlets outside of the PC C South and he is not using them. Can I ask him to move?

Why not? I'm sure that if you explain that you need the outlet -- said person will understand!

You mean you didn't want to know how drill bits and flyrod rods are made?

... and other things that start with D :p

Yes -- of course, ask him to give you access to the outlet! I wish I could be there to wave my magic card and get you in. It would also be more fun than cleaning the garage.

I asked him and he busted out his laptop. I guess he got tired of reading the wallgreens sunday advert. Thankfully I found another outlet, the camping/wireless squatting outside of C south is intense.

Did you ever settle on a destination for your Thanksgiving trip? Are you definitely going with BRU and AMS?

We haven't talked about it yet but I think that's the best option based on what I can find Saver Pass award availability for in the front cabin.

Well, not that I'm actually paying that much attention -- as my attention span seems to be quite limited, at best, right now! Sometimes it is interesting to learn how some usually mundane items are actually made!:p

I was. I had FT, FM, flightstats.com, and the BTS website up on my desktop. FM was on one monitor, and the rest on the other. Then I had the Box FM up on my laptop. I was updating both my FM and the Box FM at the same time, on two different computers, and thanks to the dual monitor setup on my desktop PC, was able to easily look at multiple things at once.

I've been spoiled working from home the last three weeks with this setup. It so beats working off just my laptop computer when I'm traveling. I'm really bad about multi-tasking. At one point I noticed last night I had about 18 different things open on my computer at once — and for the first time since acquiring this new computer a month ago, I hit more than 45% usage on the RAM meter.
