FWIW, the W=A is no picnic either. The lobby is wonderful. Some of the rooms are as well, but some are downright . My choices for Hilton properties in NYC are the Hilton Times Square and the Millenium Hilton downtown.

Aloha box.

As of last night I still was. This is subject to change. I'll PM you if I'm not going to be at work. I still have your flight info.

Dear CO,

1984 called, they want their hold music back.

Thanks.

That's how those of us over the age of 40 are reminded that we are old. There is nothing worse than hearing what use to be considered hard rock playing in the elevator.

The best hotel in NYC I've ever stayed in. Was upgraded to a corner suite as a mid-tier Honors guest. :-:

WWBD: 1A/B or 3F on 739ER on transcon?

3F...away from the galley and the bathroom.

In today's bit of . Of course I didn't respond to an e-mail. I haven't worked for that firm since 2001 and they've changed their name too so that really old e-mail address wouldn't have worked even if I did work there. (oh I miss those 5 weeks of PTO)

I have the classic rock station programmed in my car. I'll mindlessly flip through the stations and will invariably end up on that one and rock out to something that I consider temporary. Only to be snapped back into reality that I'm on the classic rock station.

Poo.

Yeah. I don't even know why I asked seeing as I'm not really partial to bulkheads (I find the foot room to be restrictive unless there's a healthy cut-out).

It's really been one heck of a  day already...

I get phone calls from two people at the same company asking me for different data (that isn't easy to find) all while I have their original work on my plate, which is a massive data pull that has to be planned out and tested. I'm usually a pretty calm guy but I hung up the phone and used the "F" word under my breath.

The thing is, we've explained to these people that any data from '04-'05 should be considered unreliable. It was during a software transition and things were not done ensure the data transferred perfectly. This isn't my fault and grilling me over why that happened is completely unproductive, I have no idea why it happened, I didn't work here then. :td:

I can relate - I've been dealing with an issue from the year my mother was born. And we wonder why I sought the "self-demotion".

I've had a  day and I'm on vacation. Due to some  regulations passed by our fine members of congress, there is certain testing that has to be done. Some things have to be done, some is just to err on the side of caution. In the past few months, I've said to test a project multiple times despite being questioned over and over because it's not necessary by law. Yet again, I was sent an email today saying that we were not testing it because it wasn't necessary by law. I wonder why I'm even copied on emails if they aren't going to do anything I tell them.:mad:

Both the DC-3 and the Retro Jet are painted in the same livery. It would be nice to see them flying together but the DC-3 is really slow.

Confetti didn't come out of the ceiling....in fact there is one agent that might try to run me over in the parking lot. :D Some days it pays to be the Number One part timer. I don't plan on staying in Baggage Service but the days off, on this bid, were too good to pass up. I will only have to work 3 nights a week instead of 5 if I had remain at the gates. I have no plans on changing my FT name.

I saw the retrojet twice last week; once at IAH and once at LAX. I wish they would paint a few more in retro liveries.

I love the bulkhead as there is no one to recline into my space. My feet are far too large to fit comfortably under most aircraft seats so I would rather have the lap space.
