Note to myself:

Never leave a 10 lb bag of potatoes on the floor. Dog just dragged the bag down 3 steps, into the living room, ripped open the bag and nibbled on atleast half of the potatoes.

Do you think anyone will notice the bite marks after I bake them? :D

After you bake them, yes. After you mash them, no.

Must visit next DC trip!

The restaurant in question is only open on weekdays during lunch hours. Also, the cream of mushroom soup is not served every day.

Oh why of why did I decided that a bunch of this ugly old tile grout should be removed since I have to do grouting anyway.
A. There's more bad ugly grout than I thought there was
B. I need more Dremel bits as this one is now dull
C. I think they used sanded grout on these old repairs as some of it's a royal pain to get out. Sanded grout would explain why it looks like crap.

Greetings from the US Open tennis tournament!

It's a lovely day here. CO is a sponsor. There are kiosks here for a chance to win CO stuff (tix, etc.) Even you lose you can get a 5% off coupin ;)

I don't recall it looking especially spacious when I last flew a DL 738 (mid 2008 or so). However, I suspect you may not be affected by bulkhead legroom issues as much as myself (and certainly not as much as ssullivan).

Went to check in and the CRJ's oversold. Was looking at a 4-hour layover at JFK and BNA has a SkyClub. Need to re-assess this situation ...

Ugh, thanks for reminding me I still need to trek up to some way-out suburb of Atlanta where there's a plumbing supply place that supposedly can get anything in the world to see about getting replacement valve cartridges for our tub and the guest bathroom shower.

I too ran into this issue, when trying to stop a very slow drip. Found the shop, they had the parts but the project slowly took on a life of it's own. Replacing fixtures, spraying new glaze-not recommended if humidity is over 70%. Well of course it's rained every day that I've been home to work on it-that was June. June of 06. Good thing it's the guest bath and I have no guest

What's a full service Hilton????

and the get around train

The Westin and Sheraton are across the street from each other. The Westin is definitely nicer and you can hang out in the pool/hottub while watching planes land from the roof. :)

note to self, pack hard hat
