They roasted the samples at 300 degrees for hours.

For the train wreck of the night. Kathy Griffin is subing for Larry King and the current guest is Levi Johnston.

So before I pitch a fit, let me know what y'all think -

I am trying to book a reward:

CLE-EWR-HKG

HKG-ICN-NRT

NRT-EWR-CLE

I was told this isn't possible as this is considered two stopovers. My read is that HK is the destination (we would stay there 6 nights) and Tokyo is a stopover on the way home, but was politely told no.

Am I off base?

Mercy. I did AUS - ONT in an RJ, and I vowed never again, even though I was in 12A. I can't imagine IAH - LAX.

Finally rain in Seattle.

They were doing CLE-ABQ a couple summers ago using an ERJ. Yes, I am serious - over 4 hours!

I tried to ask Alex to define a stopover, and she prattled on about checked luggage. Way to go, CO.

When is Larry King not a trainwreck?

I'd almost rather be stuck on the tarmac for nine hours; at least that way I could break out of the plane and get more room from my jail cell.

Oh -- so I didn't miss anything.

The only one of those people I've ever heard of is Larry King -- and he's a loser IMHO. His MO for interviews is to go in knowing as little as possible. I'll go crawl back under my rock now.

According to the Series 4 reward verbiage:

Stopovers: One free stopover allowed along the most direct route

Last I checked, NRT is one of the legal connections home from HKG.....

IAH-PSP was another long one, but CLE-ABQ is absurd!

And it's leaving from D-1 at IAH?!

What the heck is going on over there?

Xyzzy Aug 10, 2009 7:47 pm

As long stopovers were allowed in the reward I was ticketing, I've never had CO give me a hard time about my choice of stopover city.

The best Larry King toolbag moment among many in the last few years was when he asked Motley Crue "Are your tunes humable?"

For some reason it would not price out and that was the reason they provided. Looks like I need to ask SMO for a definition of a stopover as this doesnt make much sense to me.
