The Bankruptcy Court also allowed the damage claim of Republic Airways Holdings, Inc. in the amount of $150 million arising from the Debtors’ rejection of the Airline Services Agreement with Republic Airlines, Inc. and Republic Airways Holdings, Inc. The allowance of this claim was a condition to Republic Airways Holdings, Inc. providing the Amended DIP Credit Agreement.
In other words, Republic's bid is made knowing that they have a total of $190 million in claims against the assets of the firm. Southwest's bid prices the $150 million claim as if it were worth $60 million - they are using nominal terms to describe their bid as "better" when in fact they do know that the first bidder is the major creditor (and priced their bid according to the debt they are owed). Unless F9's debt is truly worth less than 40 cents on the dollar to the DIP, WN's "better" bid is a fallacy.

Seriously - he has about as much credibility selling trucks as the Dixie Chicks.

Ford loved those Howie commercials as it increased the visability of Ford products and pushed people to the Ford dealerships.

No wonder GM is in the toilet. It's advertising everyone elses vehicles! Those ads were dumb. Ford's step looks pretty useful! I've never seen that before.

Today's the first that I've seen Tripp since DO IV! I've been here many times, but we never crossed paths. I've missed him & it's great to see him shaking the martinis, sore shoulder & all.

They are checking of sayings are true are not such as Hitting the Road Running. The "you can't polish s:-::-:t" is based on if you have something/idea that's really bad it won't get any better if you try to polish it as s:-::-:t is soft and not what you would think to have a good shine ability to make it better. So the Mythbusters took a trip to the zoo.

I figured it was something as dumb as that, but I have no idea what they are actually going to do. I don't care enough about it, though, to actually watch and see.
