Nice castle, cool bridge & waterfront and a decent old Jewish quarter. And then plenty of good beer. It will be cold as sin in January but that's OK - we'll have plenty of good beer. I was in Prague in January and it was cold as sin! We stayed at the Hilton which was ^ even though it had a very tempting casino on the mezzanine level. |

Flew on a DirectTV equipped flight today. DirectTV lost signal about half way into the flight IAH-LAS and never came back.
On another note, I've had it with Thrifty. I get nothing but angst every time I use them in LAS. No mas. |

I start working Noon-8 shifts as of today for the foreseeable future. Should be interesting. Of course, I still was up at 6am. Gonna have to find a way to fill my mornings with something else to do. |

Not to pile on poor (especially after UPS jumps on his rear) disgruntled DL flyer but I did note on the DL forum that he couldn't fly from RIC the day before because he had taken a one-day trip to LAS. He twittered / tweeted / whatever the heck it is called about the outing.
