And they then complain that no one speaks English.

What? Speak American.

I'm up for PRG over MLK weekend.

My SPG Amex came today (signed up yesterday) but my wife's hasn't come yet.

The police just gunned someone down two blocks from my office. :rolleyes:

jrzyshawn Jul 15, 2009 4:19 pm

Nice!

I want to go there...

Not much news yet but the average cop doesn't want to engage in a deadly confrontation unless forced.

The reports are a traffic stop gone bad with the shotee brandishing a weapon. In the District that could me a bottle of water greater than 100ml.

Pulling a weapon is an "it depends":

* Pulling out a knife/bat/crowbar plus some distance (not immediate access to cause harm) = don't engage
* Pulling out a gun (or gun-facsimile) in a city with commuters/pedestrians at 5:20 p.m. = immediate threat

PRG is a great city ^

Yes, the cradle of American Democracy isn't the most freedom-loving administrative region in the world now, is it?

It's really too bad that citizens don't always have the same options that the police do. I can't wait to see if the attachment of a national CCW statute to whatever bill it got attached to ruffles any feathers...

Did it come UPS Next Day Air? That seemed strange to me...
