Now I'm done with 2xtree too. Same issue as Hilton last week. Paid for 1 king and got 2 doubles. I refused their offer and even called the diamond desk to confirm I booked a king and my way said 1 king, bed type most important.

Lame. What's Hilton's official bed guarantee policy?

Their policy is to come up with excuses to avoid compensation.

With Hyatt, the wrong size bed is at least worth an immediate 5,000 points for Plats / Diamonds. And make no mistake - I'm not going to ever fit in a double again.

Still shocked this keeps happening to you. The only hotel chain that's done it to me is Marriott, and that was only on two occassions years ago. Sorry you've had such rotten luck lately. :(

Very frustrated with tonight's dinner. We printed a great looking recipe from the Top Chef TV show's website a week ago to make tonight. However, after starting it, we realized it has huge errors in the way the recipe is printed on the website, which lead to it not working at all. I just had to throw out a ton of ingredients and start over again from scratch after realizing that the recipe is just plain wrong.

I'm frustrated that tonight's dinner is still more than 4 hours away (at least three of which I'll be on a CR2).

It's definitely 11/3 (see thread:http://www.flyertalk.com/forum/commu...-thru-6-a.html)

The CO reception is at the EWR PC from 3-6pm.

Ah....I guess my calendar was a bit wobbly bonkers there....sorry :p

I think playing the P-Club party is a long shot at best and I won't push the issue at all. If it's meant to be, it's meant to be but I won't get my hopes up. It would make a pretty cool finale to the previous 2 days for me (going to see Stephen Colbert live in Red Bank, NJ on 11/1 and I've got Daily Show tix on 11/2 :D.

Was it as bad as that strawberry cake Rachel was trying to make on an episode of Friends that she made with beef and gravy?

My wife watched that show regularly before our wedding, just for a personal barometer as to whether or not she was becoming a horrible b!tch. Of course she never got anywhere close to the silliness that goes on in that show, but she would (thankfully) change the channel for me if I came into the room.

If I was marrying a woman that acted like the women do on that show, I wouldn't be getting married.

We are now at an electric airplane park near sea world. I am afraid I may get into a new expensive hobby. These guys are really good. If you are in SAN and have some time to kill you have to come by here.
