PFFGH.

I got a call from Smith St. (based on an email I sent asking how I complain about the complaint line) a week or two ago and the guy cataloged my complaint and politely agreed with me that their system is not designed in a "customer friendly manner."

I told him I respected his admission and that it was CO's program and they could run it however they wanted. I just felt they should be a little more up-front about the logic gaps that are so confusing that every employee I spoke with gave me a different answer. He told me he'd "work on it."

So, I booked some flights on DL.

Quick question -- do grocery stores in CA sell liquor? I'm going to a coworker's for supper and I want to bring some Patron (long, but funny story). Can I grab that in a Safeway or do I have to go huntin'?

ET, come pick up your baby.

I'm not sure it really works. It seems a cell phone can send the whole system wobbly bonkers. They can't even get the sign right. :D

Yes you can buy liquor anywhere including Safeway. No government run stores for us here. I think 7-11 might even sell the stuff.

I was driving thru the Pine Barrens over the weekend (camera-free, sadly) and saw multiple signs advertising a "Garag Sale".

Had to trek out to the UPS place to pick up my coin order that was attempted to be delivered while I was away. I realized that I had to pick it up tonight, or else it was going to be sent back to the Mint t'morrow! Not the most cost-effective transaction since I had to take an hour RT to go retrieve them! Oh well, to the bank t'morrow!^

Eddie: "You know, I had the metal plate in my head."

Clark: "Of course, how I could forget?"

Eddie: "Yeah, I had to have it replaced with a plastic plate, because every time Catherine revved up the microwave, I'd piss my pants and forget who I was for a half hour or so."

I'm just jealous that the workers never have to experience the smell of burned microwave popcorn at 9 in the morning like I have to.;)
