Does said helmet bag have a flat bottom panel? ;)

LOL.

The more I think about it, I'd rather have accuracy. Said patch with the French flag also has a Saudi flag on it, so it's not like I'm escaping graphic representations of evil.

Alright - need to get some sleep ...

Sleepy time.

What am I still doing up? Time to go to bed and to be waken early by the contractors next door.

I'm not so sure about that. CO has repeatedly said they get a lot of biz thanks to their upgrade policy. That said, I see the capacity controls getting worse. The real losers? Golds and Silvers. Plats have the saving grace of M fares which is a true benefit now. You really can't beat a $600 transcon that gets an instant upgrade.

As a shareholder, I like to see the day of departure upgrades as long as it doesn't take away F seats from elites.

NW tried to sell the remaining 3 F seats on my DTW-LAS at the gate on Friday and about 2:rolleyes: immediately rushed the GA counter.

We still went out with 2 empty seats.

I will gladly join and support you in such a campaign!

I "fixed" the Internet connection in my room tonight by unplugging the router/modem thingy they have under the desk, and plugging my computer directly into the jack on the wall. Dropped connection issues I was having earlier are solved, and the speed, while nothing to write home about, is better too. At least it's free here, which is unusual for a full service Hilton property.

USA 1::rolleyes: T&T

I knew that you would post an update (what with photog72 hard at work). I was able to watch the second half, though I think one of my clients, who wanted to watch the US Open, was a little annoyed that I was hogging all the bandwidth and trying not to swear at the computer.

Is the new stadium as weather-susceptible as the old one? I remember watching the Red Right 88 game from Row Z in the old stadium with the wind blowing through the slats in the exterior...

As long as you're not flying to/from SFO where upgrade chances are like CO's EWR-LAX, the system works pretty well.

I was upgraded on UA from SFO a couple of weeks ago using miles -- I think the secret is to get a flight switched from a 319 (8F) to a 320 (12F) at the last minute. That's the only way I've ever been upgraded on UA from California.

Good night all.

CO Insider just posted regarding the issues with EUA not running lately, and a ton of upgrades being processed at the gate. Hopefully he's correct, and this is more a technical issue than anything else.

Given the age of the systems they use, it wouldnt surprise me that its a bad record.
