I'm not so sure about that. CO has repeatedly said they get a lot of biz thanks to their upgrade policy. That said, I see the capacity controls getting worse. The real losers? Golds and Silvers. Plats have the saving grace of M fares which is a true benefit now. You really can't beat a $600 transcon that gets an instant upgrade.
NW tried to sell the remaining 3 F seats on my DTW-LAS at the gate on Friday and about 2:rolleyes: immediately rushed the GA counter. We still went out with 2 empty seats. |

I "fixed" the Internet connection in my room tonight by unplugging the router/modem thingy they have under the desk, and plugging my computer directly into the jack on the wall. Dropped connection issues I was having earlier are solved, and the speed, while nothing to write home about, is better too. At least it's free here, which is unusual for a full service Hilton property. |

CO Insider just posted regarding the issues with EUA not running lately, and a ton of upgrades being processed at the gate. Hopefully he's correct, and this is more a technical issue than anything else.
