I am, however, looking forward to watching the Yankees play some October baseball on my new TV (being delivered on Monday)!

Aye, I think my wife wants to go to her school's game tonight. I'll be bringing my FM radio so I can hear Pittsburgh slap Tennessee all up in the face.

It won't be anything reciprocal on US; they aren't anything more than another *A member as far as CO is concerned. And how would there be reciprocity on international upgrades when CO doesn't really offer them anyways??

I agree with you. It is interesting to note that on the award charts - the third chart is the upgrade reward chart - and it only includes CO and Copa.

The implication here would be that OnePass will only have upgrade rewards on CO and Copa (and not *A). This might translate to no reciprical upgrades with UA for domestic flights.

The unknown is still the tier levels CO = 25/50/75; UA - 25/50/100

I think age is more a factor here than actual restaurant quality ;)

:p - I had taste in restaurants long before I worked in hotels. Most everything used to taste good at my local Red Lobsters up until about 2004. Then it quickly turned to crap. The few times I've been back since, only the pasta has been any good.

It is a joyous occasion. CO has announced mostly positive changes for those of you with elite status, meaning everyone but me and Mike I think. :) But there is another reason; yea, another reason indeed for exuberant joy.

Tonight, the age old battle between offense and defense commences once again. The personification of the unstoppable force versus immovable object; the moment where grown men across the country stop for a moment, and some even shed a tear; the end of a long drought; the end of rampant speculation.

Tonight, ladies and gentlemen, I am ready for some football. :D

I will be making a similar announcement on October 3rd, as that is the date when the only winter sport that really means anything begins.

I hope CO allows Plat to remain at 75k for one more year before raising it to 100k.

Don't read too much into this yet there is a hidden page that says 'CONFIDENTIAL - DO not release until Oct 25th' somewhere after that :)

It is 28 minutes when the train runs express and 34 when it doesn't to get from the AirTrain station to Lexington. Yes, there are stops, but it isn't that bad. It is anoter 8 minutes from Lex to NYP. If you're going all the way to NYP or past it then the LIRR is faster. But the LIRR is ~22-25 minutes to NYP and then you're transferring and another 8 minutes back to Lex. The E is faster.

Sounds like it could be fun. :D

Skip MLA. Not very exciting at all. If you insist on going, don't stay more than 2-3 days. You'll want to pluck your toenails out.
