Yes, they occassionally do. About 10-15 years ago my uncle, his wife, and two sons were returning to Texas from a trip to SEA on WN, which they had flown using Rapid Rewards tickets. He stopped at a slot on their layover, popped in 3 quarters, pulled the handle, and the machine went crazy. They ended up having to miss the flight and overnight in Vegas because he won enough that it required tax paperwork and a check to be cut. This apparently happened just as the flight out of LAS was boarding, but it was worth the wait. They had stayed with relatives most of the vacation, and were flying on free tickets, so they actually made a nice profit on the vacation thanks to that slot machine, even though it meant an unexpected overnight stay in LAS until they could get a new flight home.

IMO, one line does not a performance of that size make, sir. I will concede the point that it's a great line, but what Sam Neill brought to his character runs circles around what Thompson brought to his.

Night, Box.

Have a nice flight home.

Thanks for checking. I'll hold out for the hope that there's a no-show on 1676 and I get lucky with a battlefield UG. I'm currently first on the list with around half not checked in yet (fingers crossed).

I've been to SDF about 8 or 9 times in the last few months for work. Never got a chance to do anything fun there except discover a new restaurant once in a while. I'll be back there on 9/30 - 10/2

Too tired to post. I just finished my last shift at the gates until the next bid, which will be in January.

Good night Box.

Good night Box.

Wow just 18 states :D Yep get traveling, lots to explore within our own borders.

I got to hit SEA/PDX soon, been meaning to for a long time. also want to go to Alaska, but don't have a big need to do that right now, I had family there up till 2 years ago, but they are in Guam now. I'd like to go there as well but it is a pricey place to visit for a few days most of the time.

Pedro says, "Only 300 more miles to go!"

In the mid to late 1950s, my family would vacation in Miami every winter and we would drive from NY to FL. At that time, I-95 ended in Washington DC and it was US 1 for the rest of the trip. One place we passed through going and coming was SOTB. At that time it was a gas station and beanery that sold schlock in the middle of nowhere. The reason I remember it is Pedro and the billboards (if you wished to call 4x8 painted plywood by the side of the road a "billboard") which started 150 miles before you reached the site. At that time, going 45 MPH, that was a lot of billboards. We actually did stop there usually to use the restrooms and buy gas and I am sure they got some money out of my mother for the schlock. BTW, I think the signs started around 150 miles from the site, but I am not certain.

As an aside, one other memory of those trips was some backwoods diner in Georgia that advertised that "Ike and Mamie" ate here. I remember my oldest brother laughing as he asked us why the owners let the local stray mutts eat in their establishment.
