Chase made it very easy for me today with two banks next door to each other. :)
Chase Market St, Paterson and Chase Market St, Paterson

Chase Haledon and Chase Haledon

I'm making thick-cut pork chops tomorrow for dinner. Of course, they have to be prepared in a way that's not "fried".

Completely worth it though, right? Not a hassle and not annoying at all, right? :p

slight hassle. I don't think a BMW was designed to carry $22K in coins
Two branches in two towns were right next to each other, so that was easy.

I will make sure I never have more than one order pending with the mint at one time. :-:

25K in coins in my living room would simply suck.

Eureka accomplished. About ten minutes ago. Now I just need to come down off the pain pills and I'll be totally back to normal. Now that the plumbing is fixed, I can go about my day.

Glad you're feeling better.

Happy Birfday. No - I turn 29 in November.

What is the deal with 28? About 3/4 of the box appears to be 28. What was going on in 1981 that turned out a whole slew of fly-babies?

I have a great idea. We could come up with a box spreadsheet showing who where when and how much coins are dropped to ensure too much is not dropped off at one location at one time.

How about an electric skillet?

Thanks! I plan on getting a bell to ring :D Good news - I'm hitting the doc up for a handicap placard - it will come in handy for holiday shopping and travel. You got to look at the bright side!

Plus1 is so happy - The Real Housewives of Hotlanta is on

All this food talk. I made a NY cheesecake this evening and appears something may be wrong. I followed all the rules (room temp ingredients, no overblending or overcooking, water bath, etc). After 1.5 hours of cooling in the oven, it is still a bit jiggly. Not sure if time in the fridge will help.

Seems the last time I made a cheesecake 10 or so years ago I followed none of those guidelines and it came out great.

I am 26 now... ^ I think i may be the youngest of the regulars here, but there is no prize in that. age doesn't mean much to me :)
you are only as old as you wish to be, or as young...

Mine are grilled. When I had access to a smoker pit, I would smoke a standing rack and then cut the individual chops free after they had been smoked. The meat basically falls off the bone.

That's no fun! Especially when they're back-ordered and you'll wait weeks for an order.

My max was 19k piled inside the house at once. I was out for like 2 straight weeks (unexpectedly) and didn't want to cancel the orders. My coworkers brought them to the house b/c they didn't want that many in my office or in their houses. I have a feeling I might have that many at once again once this back-order clears since I'll be out again...

I'd say onion and cilantro with a hint of lime marinated for 1-2 hours, put on a grill and right before done hit it with a hint of cumin. yummy :)
