I actually got that from someone in the (SkyTeam Partner) forum, IIRC, but I'll take credit.

I had the rBQ, a ground brisket burger, topped with homemade barbecue sauce and coleslaw. It was excellent. Brian had the daily special, which last night was a tortilla crusted beef burger, with a smoky jalapeņo sauce, and pepper jack cheese. We split a small green salad, order of fries, and onion rings. I had beer, and Brian had his favorite foie gras milkshake. I started to get a shake last night, but decided I was a beer mood instead.

There's a persistent rumor online that Austin is in the works as a future location for the concept.

Foie gras milkshake? He must love it if it's his favorite but it just sounds weird.

Thank you fozz. It was a brief half-day of work. I signed my life away to the Mouse. I work for the Disney company now. The good thing is... unlike other companies in my field, they have not cut back on OT, and actually budget for it.^ There's a new Smashburger next door too! Along with a brand spankin' new HEB (grocery store). My schedule will stink, but, who cares... it's a job, and I'm working for a company that won't be going out of business or cutting jobs anytime soon (from what I hear).

Does your job entail filming Miley/Hannah pole dancing?

So, so much wrong with this.

Also, does working for Disney still allow living in Houston?

mnmag Aug 20, 2009 4:10 pm

Enjoying some Starbucks java chip frappuccino ice cream before I go to my NIA class! Yum!^;)

When I worked for the Mouse in Tampa and Orlando, we had people in Houston we sometimes had to call for support services. There's also something up in Connecticut - accounting I think.

He could also be working ABC/ESPN there, as Disney owns them.

It's a fitness regimen that incorporates the dance arts, martial arts & healing arts: nianow.com. I absolutely love it -- it's my outlet for everything, aside from being a low-aerobic cardio workout!^

I love those l'il (3.6oz) containers of ice cream -- while it's not the most cost-effective ($1 on sale, but way cheaper than going to an ice cream shop!) -- they fit the bill when you're craving something cold & yummy!:D

I know that there's Disney accounting offices in ATL.

Sometimes people forget the scale of the Disney company.. when you consider the WDW site employs 55,000 people (and that's just the people who work for the mouse, not contract employees) then the idea of finding they have an office in most places isn't really surprising - though it often still amazes me.

I'd like to say that I hope it isn't serious but the fact that there is surgery involved pretty much kills that theory.

Win, only if she does it to "achey breaky heart."
