Some recall the saga of my front yard. Went to the mailbox today and there's a check for $825 (the $900 to repair their contractor's damage less the service charge). I spent $600 more in order to replace the entire sewer line and add a new (non-ferrous) water line.

Question for those who have been on one of these 739ER...

Saw this one in CLE on Friday, and I noticed a door between the wing exits and the rear door, but seatguru doesn't show this on their seatmaps. Is this a real exit? Is there an aisle there?

Sorry, I have been banished to COEX, so I don't get to fly on the big boy planes very often :(

Thanks!

I have never flow Y on a 739 ;)

Alright - going to deposit said $825 check before I head out to Missouri tomorrow.

What's CO serving on transcons for breakfast these days? Last time I did one it was last year and I think it was cereal, eggs, or french toast? Or am I making that up?

Those were our options on our recent SAN-EWR flight.

We only have Prime Outlets around here, and they're not very close at that. Sounds like a great deal though.

Figured. There's really not much else one can do with breakfast in an airplane galley except maybe lox and bagels (which isn't everyone's thing).

This day ground to a halt about an hour ago. I should go home.

My wife (high school special education teacher with both emotional/behavioral and autism kids) is doing the IAH Autism Walk on the 24th so I'm providing all travel arrangements and moral support. ^

The correct alternative is the E90. It was interesting talking about that with Shannon (CO Insider's #2) at drinks on Saturday night.

Agreed. But I meant in terms of CO, what happens when a 735 goes away is that it seems more often than not that it is replaced by an ERJ.

What were Shannon's thoughts on the E90? I would love to see CO flying it, as well as the E70.

INteresting, guess I missed something on Saturday night!

It was discussed. Not in a way that she said CO had a few dozen on order, but in the way that it was acknowledged that they were a right-sized replacement in the 100-seat space. Better than an ERJ or DH4 and smaller than a 73G, which is about to be CO's smallest plane.

Speaking of, can any one recommend a car service in IAH. Working a show all week in Sugar Land, might make more since to be driven to Hotel and not mess with driving. And since the EAU cleared I could actually use the free booze

I used to use Lane Towne Car and Limo. One way between IAH and my West U/Rice Village area apartment was $68 — I just went back and checked an old expense report to get the price.

My VS Silver welcome package just showed up... I had completely forgotten that I had signed up for the promotion. It came with a nice luggage tag and two free upgrades per the Gatwick Express and Heathrow Express trains.

Are they planning on dumping the remaining 30 or so 735s that aren't marked on the published fleet plan for retirement?

I take it there weren't any "stickers" in there....
