In other news, resort / timeshare company I'm abusing called again today. Asked if I would spend an hour with them Wednesday (when I'm in Missouri wilderness) for $100. Explained that I spent an hour with them at another location last week for $100. Apparently doesn't matter. ^ If they give me $100 each location I visit, these 20 days will almost be free monetarily (notwithstanding opportunity cost of my time). |

Question for the box...
On a 738... IAH-PHL Seat 14A or regular aisle seat? I really gravitate toward aisle seats so I get up as I please. However, I was able to score 14A at check-in, so I went for it. Maybe it's just been THAT long since I've sat in exit rows with legroom. Worth rationing the liquids so I don't have to inconvenience my seat mates to get up? |

Question for those who have been on one of these 739ER...
Saw this one in CLE on Friday, and I noticed a door between the wing exits and the rear door, but seatguru doesn't show this on their seatmaps. Is this a real exit? Is there an aisle there? Sorry, I have been banished to COEX, so I don't get to fly on the big boy planes very often :( Thanks! |

Thanks, SG. I'm just going to risk it, get on the train in MetroPark and then play holy he!! at the airport if my reservation has been cancelled.
I spoke with the online helpdesk for CO and she made a note in my reservation to say I was having difficulties checking in, and she also did something to put a break in the reservation between the train and the flight, so hopefully it won't cancel out. I also checked in online last night, so I have a boarding pass, and will go through to the gate and have them sort it out. Keep your fingers crossed.

thanks. I shall be firm, but polite, in my normal way. I will not yell, scream, shout, poke someone in the eye, slap them across the face with a wet fish, or shove a q-tip up their nose. Good luck!! |

What's CO serving on transcons for breakfast these days? Last time I did one it was last year and I think it was cereal, eggs, or french toast? Or am I making that up?

It is not an exit on CO configured 739ER aircraft. It's a plug.

I love your story on how you went through the economics of Time Share ownership and how they are a poor choice. You should plan something like that for this one too. Take your Hyatt account statement in with you and show them how they are screwing people over v. a normal loyalty program.
* Again, timeshare is a good choice for a lot of people - there is a value-laden judgment. |

They are called hash browns, not hash whites. Is it wrong to want that crunchy top coating on my morning potato product?

Well -- would you rather have people clean up the dirty tables around you or sit looking at dirty dishes on those tables? It's Hobson's choice, I guess. I really despise places that leave tables full of dirty dishes.

I'd be willing to make the trek to SAT for a few drinks. The Sheraton and Westin are both nice properties.

Morning Box from the ORD B RCC. This is my first visit to a RCC, and it isn't too bad. The CO service desk in this RCC was very helpful, and happily provided the complimentary WiFi cards for both of us.
Back to CLE this morning, then off to DFW tomorrow morning. I'll post some pics from our weekend at the W Lakeshore Chicago. It was really nice.

That is why so many chefs end up working for high end grocery stores such as Wegmans. Regular hours, less hectic, and bennies.

The correct alternative is the E90. It was interesting talking about that with Shannon (CO Insider's #2) at drinks on Saturday night. |
