I had great fun with this principle when we were there last month. They certainly get thrown for a loop when someone my size is on the other side of the door. Yes, people DO bounce. :D

I'm still big enough to test out that principle ...

Flying upstairs is like sitting in a closet. I've been on both CO and UA's old 747s and it wasn't anything special. The galley is in plain view, between the stairs and the cockpit/bathroom. 4 rows of seats.

Upstairs configurations vary - I enjoyed my NW 744 experience in the exit row. Mucho space and the galley was in the rear behind/beside the stairs.

Awww....but they are so cute getting mad at each other like that. I love the pilot going after the FA thinking that they are a non-employee. It is fun to watch such idiocy play out. :D

It's even better to have to work with them.

That thread is entertaining.

That's the difference with the newer planes. You were on a 400 and I was on a 100 and 200. Not much room upstairs on the older ones.

There is availability on VS1 and VS2 that I want to snag for Mr.Brit, but I can't book them until the miles are in the account.

Will ANA hold the itinerary for a couple of days to allow those miles to post? Probably can't hurt to ask.

Yep, I'm off until Oct 13. I'm loving it. I did have to go to the airport today for my CPR/AED training at the Fire Station.

I don't usually shove people out of my way unless I'm in Hong Kong. I tend to follow what the locals do and that's what they do. It was fun to ignore our social rules for a few days. I even slurp my noodles (ramien) in Japan.

Off to the interview; thanks for the kind thoughts folks.

We left an EMT in the woods!

Apparently, due to a miscommunication, a paramedic was left behind two miles into the woods or Passaic County. We had dispatched EMS to some emergency in the wood. EMS all meet up and rode ATV’s into the wood to search for the patient and we had a medevac assist in the search. Once the patient was located and transferred to the medevac no one noticed they were one person short :-:. The paramedic called us and informed us he was left behind in the woods but could not provide his location. I had him dial 9-1-1 and instructed him to tell the operator to transfer him to medical dispatch so we can determine his location. Once we had him call us we were able to get his location and send help.

Apparently, it was all a big misunderstanding. There was no room in the medevac and they left him behind, but forgot to tell him. It seems this paramedic did notice the noise from the medevac or ATV’s that he was getting left behind or maybe there was a lot of dust from the rotors :-:

I have been in the upper deck many times and I have mixed feelings on it:

LH First
SQ Business
VS Upper Class
QF Business
AR - Don't remember what it was called at the time.
