It's not so bad on the 747-400s. The upper deck is much longer, with about twice as many rows of seats. The stairs are at the back of the upper deck, with the galley and closet behind them, and the lavatories at the front of the cabin, by the cockpit door. You don't really see the galley unless you're walking to the stairs, which are in the back, not the front, of the 744 upper deck.

I think that thread is kinda funny. It never ceases to amaze me how hot under the collar people can get. I can almost feel the apoplexy and see the seething spitting as they are posting. :D But, I do, in many way, think that airline pilots and surgeons are demi-gods. They are responsible for so many lives while doing their jobs, and so I am in awe of them for that alone!! Just imagine if they had a pi$$y day and decided to act out a tantrum .....I shudder to think!! |
