There also is not much around it. I've only seen the Applebees open during the day once, and the only other vendor was the bookstore/convenience store thing they had across from the CO gates. It is fun to be there in the early evening when all the UPS widebodies come in, though.

I had 4 hours there. I Pricelined a car, drove to the mall and saw a movie. Nothing was open at the airport. Nada.

I have that song on this here laptop. I also have no desire to ever go to RNO.

I believe that they (or one of their competitors) tried. They were turned down.*

*No source, but I heard this on the radio right after Johnny Cash died.

His memorial was in a very small funeral home - I unfortunately had to attend the service for the son of a colleague in the same facility.

Most Westins seem to use the same model iron and it's half way decent for a hotel iron.

I iron everything. :o

But for now, it's time for bed. I have an interview tomorrow and I'm really hoping I get one of the two spots they have open so I can stop looking for a bloody job. Night, Box.

Bon chance

Ah, yes, Prada Marfa which is really no where near Marfa. Still worth a stop along US 90 to see it.

Overall I find Alpine and Fort Davis more enjoyable than Marfa. There's a lot to see and do in the area, but I've found Marfa to be overhyped, as it seems most of the attractions in the area are in other towns (or closer to the other towns).

Palo Duro is worth the trip up there. Too bad there's not a lot else around to see.
