I'm heading to the airport tomorrow for my CPR training class at the SFO Fire House. Maybe they'll let me go out for a ride or two afterwards.

It is now. Earlier you couldn't load any existing reservations or do much of anything else on it. The main page on the site would load, but that was about it.

ETA: Changing a seat assignment on an existing reservation right now generates all kinds of errors. So it's partly working.

My god the NW forum is depressing.

I guess I missed a memo. Are they merging all the accounts tonight? I thought that was going to happen at the end of October.

Good thing I pulled what little history I could from nwa.com earlier today...

They've always said the merger of those accounts would happen "by the end of October." However, since CO announced a few weeks ago that as of October 1 the reciprocal upgrades with NW were ending, due to the end of the World Perks program on that date, it's been pretty apparent that "by the end of October" really meant "October 1." I think DL is reserving the right to take the rest of the month to get it all finalized, but the merger of the accounts is on for tonight. DL.com had an announced service outage for several hours overnight, and NWA.com appears to be pretty crippled right now as well. Supposedly after this is done a lot of the functionality on NWA.com will be gone, and the site will be deferring many items to DL for processing.

Morning, Box. Thanks for the well wishes for the interview. Two hours and four people; should be an interesting time. The interview is at 3PM so I have to remember to have lunch before I go so that I don't wind up with growling noises during the interview. I figure that can't help much.

I will be extremely :mad: if piecemeal sale results in jettisoning of Diamond Club. Hopefully this doesn't turn out like teh Olympic Airways liquidation.

I think the most ^ outcome would be a BA takeover of Diamond Club, though it seems Willie Walsh is only interested in teh LHR slots. I could have some fun with 250,000 BA miles (assuming 1:1 transfer ratio).
