I would suggest doing AMA, LBB, and MAF in one swoop.

Eh, why bother with Midland/Odessa? I could sort-of justify a one-time trip to Amarillo and Lubbock, but the Permian Basin has got to be one of the most *meh* parts of the entire state. And for six to nine months of the year, it's some of the state's most unpleasant weather in the state.

You like Korean food? Check out Seoul Garden in the cove :D There is also a Korean food market that is a lot cheaper, and they have a sushi chef that will make whatever you want on demand, righ tin front of you, and it is excellent.
btw temple to GRK is very  the road construction on the temple side is just insane.

Along those lines, let me know when you are down. I am passing through sometime next week on my way to AUS.... (well not directly, I planned to go on 183A at lampassas, but I could make a detour) :)

That's what the cotton plants are for. :p

It's also good for tornado spotting. And getting blown away by a dust storm on a "brown day." And experiencing the smell of the stockyards outside of Amarillo.

I have stayed at the Grand Hyatt, which was fine though on the edge of anywhere you want to be. Great views, but glitzy '80s-ish decor. I was there for only one day and was working in St. Kilda, so it was convenient for public transport.

Thanks.

I'll assume OZ and not FL. I haven't stayed at any but have heard better of the Hyatts than Hiltons. I would pose it to the Hyatt and Hilton boards or search for the threads on there. What are the locations or how important is the location to you? If I recall, a Hyatt was located downtown in a great spot.

Yes, Australia :). All locations seem to be in center city, right now I'm leaning towards a Hyatt. Thanks.

My grandfather was heavily involved in the development of the rice industry down there. It's kind of sad to see it pretty much non-existent now.

Yes, if the iron is new. Problem is that people tear up stuff in hotel rooms and I find that the irons often have been dropped so many times that they're beat up and leaking everywhere.

I've switched to mostly wrinkle-free shirts that go to the cleaners for a professional pressing every week after they're worn. That has kept me from having to iron in hotels much for the last 18 months. Ironing every night or morning got old.

Last night, that was true.

you are hired, now get to work designing the newest outhouse, or maybe traffic mix master, intertwined with 2 subway stations and 6 railroad tracks in a large interchange, all designed specifically to be as confusing as possible.

But for now, it's time for bed. I have an interview tomorrow and I'm really hoping I get one of the two spots they have open so I can stop looking for a bloody job. Night, Box.

Good luck. Good luck. Good luck. Good luck. Good luck. Good luck. Good luck.

Wow, no Box posts for over half an hour, and it's not yet midnight in the central time zone?

Just been over in the NW forum reading the threads about the death of World Perks that's currently in progress as I type this.

DL.com is down for the next few hours, and NWA.com is pretty much dead as well at the moment. It will be interesting to see if I'm still able to check in for my flight Friday when I get up tomorrow morning.

I'm going to miss NW. We had a lot of good flights together over the last decade. :(

I remember thinking that NW had the best winter uniforms when I was little. The FAs wore white fur hats.
