From the NJ Devils Star-Ledger Blog:

Why Elias and Parise?

"Two good choices," Lemaire pointed out. "Patrik, I know him for a long time. He had (an A) last year and I heard from teh coaching staff he'd be really good if he keeps it.

The shoes I was wearing all day yesterday were Rockports and they are great. However, I think I've just worn them down inside over the last six months or so. They still look great but they just aren't cushioning and supporting as well as they used to.

They do wear out quickly but that's the case with anything that's meant to be comfortable.

Bacon has the same effect too.

That video comes near the end of each NH flight. More mesmerizing than Teletubbies!

Yes, but do any of the men know where the exits really are? ;)

Hello, baglady!

Hope your ankle's feeling better today. A bunch of boxers are in the PWP thread now in case you want to join the conversation.

Actually, I never got Tom Waits. I've seen him twice (a "chick" thing; same reason I saw Cats three times): once years ago opening for Jackson Browne in PHX, and again June '08 in Houston.

The first time, he actually had a lighted cigarette on his piano. Hmm, I wonder if there's any corollary there...;)

It's all about the writing.....Springsteen's "Jersey Girl" was written by Tom IIRC. Bob Dylan could never sing worth a damn but the dude can write!

Ok...off to watch a movie with Ms. GadFly....TTFN

If a nap doesn't hold, I'll head over there; thanks!

Is that some kind of defensive posture, or is she just elaborating on Scott6067 at #94482?

Okay, back to work.

My nap was interrupted by BL JR who is making a shopping list.

She brought it to me and it had one item:
Popcorn.

Then she said.
Oh, we're running out of champagne, I'll put that on there. I'd be bad if we ran out of that and we're running low. Whiskey. Tango. Foxtrot????

Then she said we need Clorox wipes. Um, okay.

Then she picked up my bottle of vicodin (which if almost full, thankuverymuch) and said she was adding that because sure I needed more.

She then proceeded to check the pantry and came back and said Plus1 needed peanuts, which is an interesting choice considering she can't have any. So she added that.

This is a visual list.

She put it out. A pure  moment. I shudder at what we have created. (I'm quite certain Plus1 will erase the we).

I can hold a couple of weeks. I need to speak to my boss and see if these rumors are true, or what... see what he says. He seems to be sympathetic to my situation.
