Yeah, I've often wondered why BTR doesn't get a daily mainline flight or two, a la MCI. I know a guy that lives in BTR and travels regularly (IT security consulting) and rides the barbie jet to IAH too.

For a while they did get a single 735 a day, and the times I flew it, it was usually pretty full. That ended around September 2008. NW used to also fly a DC9 or two a day in there from MEM and dropped those flights around the same time to CRJs. Since those flights ended the airport is all RJ, all the time, despite the high frequency of daily flights to IAH, ATL, and DFW. CO did have a 735 on the schedule for a day or two right around the start of school this year, but I think that was mostly to handle the extra demand caused by the start of school at LSU.

I see the FT Aerogeek ratio is properly represented in that photo. About 20 guys to .5 girls.

That is a high estimate for the girls.

Nah... The actual numbers were probably about 15:1. As for beautiful women, the ration was probably similar, but many fewer from both sides. ;)

Someone better send a memo to that CO bird to not get too close to TG. She might look like a good date to the dance, but she no love you long time.

Aloha box from the Octagon PClub. Every time I'm up here I want to make a UFC joke but I don't think anyone will get it. :rolleyes:

It's crunch time for my EUA. 9 checked-in. :mad::mad:

I hope some stuff isn't about to go down at work today. A bunch of us on a single project (not my Louisiana disaster) are being pulled in on a MANDATORY conference call (that was how it was described in the calendar invite) in just under an hour. I'm kind of worried about this not being good news. :(
