Morning B:rolleyes::-:

The more I think about it, the more I'm certain that I saw CM working at the Trop the one night I stayed there back in 2006. Pre-FT for me. :-:

Apologies, they are routing via IAD.

I just put in a test run to see what came up. I didn't look at the fare codes, so guess I should take a look at those too, right!

It's really just to get me used to thinking about these things when I look for MRs, etc.

Anyone else optimistic about the new LCY-JFK service that started today? After using LCY last year I can not rave enough about the convenience and efficiency of the airport. I think people will tolerate the quick stop at SNN as it is still less than dealing with the mess getting to and through LHR.

Plus, for us aerogeeks, it is pretty cool seeing the baby bus! :)

ETA - BD is really only a stellar program if you are crediting business-class or first-class fares (the Q-UPs that I treasure so much). I wouldn't bother crediting TATL :-: travel in economy-class to BD after October 27, as I could earn more with 100% Plat RDM bonus on CO than by crediting to BD.

Gotcha!

will have to figure out how to look for Q-ups on UA, then, right?

In any case, I will credit to CO until I get my Plat status, and then think about re-upping BD Gold if they give me the status match that I just asked for.

I'd like to work it into a BA redemption, preferably mixed in with AA's LAX-JFK 762 Flagship Service. :-:

The Tampon run is fairly straightforward. Just feed TPA-AUS, AUS-ONT, ONT-AUS, AUS-TPA as your segments into .bomb, using multi-city search for First Class fares. It should give you an itinerary via IAD and DEN that is fairly maximized, mileage-wise (routing through SAT yields a few more miles, but involves a CR7, rather than an E70).

Tall blond guy, tuxedo, small desk next to Valet Parking. I probably had The Box open on my work computer at the time. If It was 2006, it had to be between 10am and 6pm and not on a Wednesday or Thursday.

Do they have to disembark at SNN to clear customs and immigration?

Interesting. I guess they couldn't get the standard ClubWorld seats to fit on the A318.

One would imagine so, but then again most biz travelers only use carry on bags so it shouldn't be a big deal.

This would have been March '06. It sounds like you, odd that I remember it, but I think you stood out. :p We checked in on a Thursday and checked out on a Friday, so I would have passed by around the morning. :-:

Does anyone know what the fares are like for LCY-JFK? I'd imagine they are charging a premium, but I'm curious to know how high it actually is...
