The ANA website is slightly confusing. Once you sign in with your member number look the left side about half way down for the blue My AMC Account open the drop down box for "Award Redemption" and select "Award Reservations" and click GO.

Under Partner Flight Awards click Use the Single Airline and select VIRGIN ATLANTIC AIRWAYS [VS] enter your dates.

I searched for FEB 10-17 and found EWR-LHR VS2 on a 744 and LHR-EWR VS1 on a 744 for 63K :D:D:D:D

a big <mwah> to you! (That's a kiss, I have been reliably told by my 17yr old, just in case you were wondering ....:))

Thanks, jrzyshawn. You're a peach. :)

Down 20 pounds since the end of July (two months), I'm about to punch a new hole in this belt for the first time.

I need to buy a device for making new holes in leather belts. Suggestions?

Congrats on the weight loss (assuming it is desirable!)!

Indeed desirable - with a BMI approaching 29, I started the Alli diet and being more careful with eating. The nice part (being 6'2" with broad shoulders) is that I can still wear the clothes from early this year as well as things I haven't fit into for a long while.

And the answer to your question is an awl (as Plus1 notes). Probably other things sitting around the house that would work (e.g. icepick).

+1

I've been losing weight and have a belt that needs a new hole.

DL is making me hate them even more. This inability to get seat assignments in advance and to get them to stick on DL flights with a NW flight number on the ticket has me stuck in a middle seat in the very back of the plane on ATL-DTW tomorrow. On my return on Friday, there are decent seats open, including exit rows, but the agent on the phone can't seem to get me a seat assignment and is telling me it can't be done until check in.

I have not had that problem with DL, fortunately.

Ahh. Did not know you wear a paddle.

Don't use an awl! You want a round hole cut out, not a hole pressed/ripped through. You need to use a leather punch. I suggest finding a shoe repair place. I've had good luck with that -- for free, no less!

This paddle platform and this holster; can buy at a specialty store already configured that way (and quite inexpensively - was cheaper for me to buy the assembled kit than the holster alone).

My next beer purchase will apparently be Heineken - buy the $19 draught keg and $25 in pizza, get $20 back ...

I will do so at Kroger or Wal-Mart - the $25 is the ambiguous "gourmet frozen pizza" (sort of like the recent rebate requiring the purchase of $30 in "meat").

I have caved to the pressure from FM Purists and listed yesterday's flight as Northwest, rather than Delta.

Rode the same A319 today MIA-MEM.

Good. As long as NW is still an operating subsidiary of DL, the flight has a NW flight number, and the equipment is ex-NW irrespective of whether it has been painted in DL colors, the flight should be listed in FM as NW.
