That was pretty-much the case for the AMS PWP thread. Once I won the tickets, I made time. :D

At least the AMS tickets had (correct me if I'm wrong) something like a six-week window within which they could be used. The *A DO tickets would be for fixed dates and would require taking Tuesday (or part of Tuesday, depending on where you live) through Friday off.

Using my PClub membership card to get in to an RCC makes me feel dirty. :o

The "snack table" here is amusing though as it has all of the standard RCC selection on one side and most of the standard PClub selections on the other side.

Is this the ORD lounge?? I may need to try in get in the WC/PC while I am in ORD for the flights to the Mega DO. I know it wount be the same as it was but I have heard so many stories about it I want to have a real life reference point for it.

OMG is there a new series starting? Did I miss it? My favorite show

Starts tonight at 7 CST (I believe) as Brothers and Sisters is on at 9 pm.

I may go home and pack my suitcase for next weekend. It would make me smile to see a suitecase in the house ready for a trip again. Been almost 5 weeks since last plane trip.

All the ranting you hear from die hard UA flyers about how great some UA crews are has to be bogus. 5 UA flights so far this weekend and they have all been rather surly with all passengers. My personal favorite was the FA that yelled at a passenger over the PA - classy!

Some place, somewhere, a bridge has been left unguarded.

Has the FRA PWP thread started? I need to reassert my dominance.

icurhere2 Sep 27, 2009 2:18 pm

I've bought five items on eBay already today

Depends, but in many cases, yes. I haven't seen many o/w M fares when I've been looking. CO has ratcheted back on discounted fares without 3/saturday night stays.

I suggest finding a shoe repair place. I've had good luck with that -- for free, no less!

Can't guarantee for free, but a shoe repair guy is the correct solution.

My clear zipper-top bag for liquids is the pouch from an amenity kit IT gave out to everyone on the plane back in 2005. I love it.

Can't buy on the phone with that super discount, sfogate. Must turn in breast cancer research donation coupon at time of purchase.

CO 1E, the flight was at least in part DL-crewed IMO from inferences I heard the FA's making referencing NW as "they" and "them".

LOL.

I'll be doing a lot of late-night posting this time around, if the thread comes to fruition.

No DL crew if it was a 747 or 330. DL's crews legally can't operate those aircraft yet. Until they merge their certificates, if the plane was originally NW's, then the crew came from NW. If the plane was originally DL's, then the crew came from DL. Doesn't matter what the paint on the outside is.

I have not had that problem with DL, fortunately.

This is the fifth DL/NW or DL/CO itinerary I've had this year, and the fifth one with this kind of problem. It may have something to do with the travel agent booking it as well, although I've had similar problems with a CO/DL combination reward ticket earlier this year.

After this I have one more trip purchased that involves DL/CO/NW on the same itinerary — our trip to Bussels and Amsterdam in November. I'm already dreading the mess that one will probably be too.

DL may be the biggest airline where I live, but they are giving me zero reasons at all to fly them once CO is no longer their partner.
