Some interesting things I learned in class:
Elites can open a delayed bag report with the Elite line. In fact they are asked to do that instead of seeing the agent at the airport. Anyone can open a claim using the kiosk at the airport. I have no clue how you go about doing that but the instructor said that can be used for this purpose. Co.com can also be used to looked for information regarding your delayed bag. Of course you can also see the agent at the airport should you feel the need to vent in person. :D While we might want to vent in person, can we do it online now, here in the BOX! ;) JK! I checked into the Plaza in LAS back in 2001. Only there because I got a $5 a night rate on the weekends. At check in, I get various (valuable) match plays and such. Later, I get a "free drink" coupon based upon a slot pull. I walk to the bar and see a sign offering a large plastic football for sale (filled with a beverage, of course) and ask the bartender if he would accept the "free drink" coupon for one of the large plastic footballs. He didn't object, so I ended up with a massive Guinness.
