Any advice that anyone can give? any special promotions? when's a good time to apply? anything like that?

I think you get 10K

I'm on this flight quite often, never had an oversold situation, but then again I've never flown it on a Friday.

An education.

Plenty of people pay that much for advanced degrees. And some even pay that much for an undergraduate degree.

Nice size but sorry, at $1500+ not worth it even if the company is paying for it.

I've wrestled with a cougar or two. One of them had a cub a few years younger than me. Best thing Ive ever done.

That's still a little bigger than my old Sharp Zaurus. The rectangular thing on the left of it was the optional 14.4 modem ($160 extra) that liked to crash when I logged onto CompuServe

I know the Master's I have in mind retails just south of $30K, and that's cheap. I've heard of med students whose monthly student loan bill exceed $2,500.

Speaking of which, a few minutes ago I slipped and mentioned divorce as a possible qualifying event for mid-year benefit changes. The reaction varied from stunned (can't believe he said the evil "D" word!) to one person saying "Well, we don't really have those here. Our changes are mostly because of marriages or having babies."

They would probably have a fit if they knew that I spent part of my lunch hour writing up documentation for an old client regarding what changes they'd need to make in their payroll system to support offering benefits to non-married domestic partners.

They'd probably say that they don't really have "those" here either.

That and the old Psion rocked :) The modem in the Psion was much more compact.

they are filtering reality if they say they don't have divorce. I know one prof at a christian college that has married 3 students in the past 10 years.....
