Downgrade yourself to Green and keep the MR points active at $95/year.

Or downgrade further to Optima Platinum and keep the points for $0 per year.....only caveat is that you can't convert them into hotel or air points (can only use them for merch)

Give me a call after they cancel your flight to go to your brother's funeral because they furloughed too many Express pilots and didn't bother to ramp-up staffing for the summer rush. Then, refuse to endorse your ticket over to a real airline and make you pay OOP for a walk-up fare. Then, reinstate the flight, without telling you, thus blocking any attempt to recoup any sort of claim you have against them.

Then, on your flight home, involuntarily downgrade you from F to Y (on a paid F fare) because their computer system was so inept it would issue dupe-seats left and right. Their offer of restitution was an "Air Check Plus" voucher as a make-good (ACP is of variable value. Something like $25 off for every $200 spent) claiming that they didn't know I was going to take the return trip because I didn't take the outbound. Failing to consider they let me check-in without a problem and issued me a seat. And that I didn't take the outbound because they told me it wasn't flying. ARGH.

They're scum. Their management team is inept. Their staying in business defies any sort of business logic.

... and that's just what broke this camel's back.

This is horrible. Now that I know your story, I will refuse to fly US too...

I'm not as strong on some topics as some Boxers are, such as Family Guy, Seinfeld, et. al., and I'd like those to be represented. Anyone volunteering for this duty must be fully resistant to bribery. :)

I'd be happy to help with Family Guy, South Park, Robot Chicken, and all things classic rock

I think the actual station for the airport is Ronkonkoma.

During morning rush-hour, there are some trains that actually skip Jamaica so be careful...if you take one of those, you'll wind up in Penn Station.

Possibly. I'm not sure if I need the help yet. I'll keep both you and colpuck in mind should I decide to go in the direction that I'm thinking about.

Interesting you should say that (and thanks, by the way). Within two hours of my latest rejection, I have secured two more phone interviews. Proverbial stones on the way up the mountain of employment sure, but any steps forward are steps up. ^

Yeah...that's basically throwing WAY too much value away. It is worth the ~$100/year to burn through them.

Are you selling your spare Dell Latitude? -- I have a Inspiron 600m that I am needing to upgrade (use for work when need to be portable, otherwise using a Dell desktop) -- but am not ready to spend big bucks right now!

This is my motivational work music right now::D:rolleyes:

Oops my bad - over 100 lbs! She was close to 500 lbs and is around 366 now. She is a beautiful lady and I really want to see her do this for herself!

A tech came in to replace mine once. I’m not so sure I would want to tackle a job like that myself, and I’ve built a number of Heathkit things when I was a kid.

Having me some Amano dark chocolate. At first I wasn't impressed by their chocolates but it is growing on me (literally) :D.
