I also find wool slacks to be hot and uncomfortable on long flights. My favorite longhaul flying outfits are well-worn jeans and either a cotton polo shirt or button-down longsleeve shirt.

^. Domestically, you can see me in board shorts, flip flops, and a Lynard Skynard t-shirt, Im kidding, well sort of :p

Yup...passport and tickets are in there, even when sleeping. I have a couple shirts without said pocket and every time I find myself flying while wearing one I get annoyed at myself.

I got my Gold credentials kit several weeks ago, and it has 2 sheets of 4 co currency coupons. I hope the new :-:A gold card does this too :D

the thing has been sitting around for weeks as I don't feel I need it esp until in :-:A where they are more strict, so I hadn't even opened it.

My very prim and proper seat mate last week 'ed at me when she saw I was wearing flip-flops in F.

I generally take the tie / jacket off during the flight and reassemble myself before landing if the flight is more than 3 hours (e.g. across water or transcon). It sucks sleeping in wool pants, I'm not going to deny it.

I bring an easily accessible shirt to change in, in case it gets dirty / excessively wrinkled during the trip (and the jacket / tie can't hide it). I've thankfully never had to go work --> TATL flight --> work with no breaks causing me to wear the same clothes for 36 hours. I'm always able to run home, grab a shower and change clothes before my flight.

Due to misconnections/reroutes I've had to go straight from the plane to an appointment after trans-pacific flights.

The only difficult part comes in sometimes having to forgo clothes / shoes to workout in.

You can get stuff like that in most Asian cities so cheap as to be disposable.

That and the lack of irons in European hotel rooms (I'm currently lobbying for this to be an EU requirement).

I have made numerous, diligent, attempts to learn how to use an iron. They've all ended up in burns to my skin or hotel fires. :o

Why so soon? I imagine that fares will only go down from where they are right now. We are talking about PRG in January here...

That reminds me, I think I will start the Brew DO thread today.

True. January tix to Europe generally see a steep discount sale in October. I was kinda banking on that. It will be about a month before my Accor vouchers arrive in the mail, anyhow.

Sadly I have a pair that are expiring at the end of October that I haven't had a chance to use. I'll have to call the 1K desk and beg them to extend them.

No. I had a decent Sofitel Privilege points balance before that program was rolled into A|Club.
