Aloha box and a happy birthday to :rolleyes:H.

Today marks a first for me -- I went to the gym before work. I've toyed with the idea for the better part of 5 years but today I actually got out of bed and did it. It worked surprisingly well.

Now let's see if I fall asleep at my desk at 2pm.

I've been toying with that same idea the last two weeks. Today was the closest I came where I was up in time to go to the gym and get to work on time. Alas I didn't leave though. Baby steps, baby steps.

Howdy all.

baglady was whisked away about 20 minutes ago. The procedure is scheduled for 90 minutes. I'll advise when I have something to report.

Good luck and I hope she has a speedy recovery.

I have it though I haven't had a chance to use it. I got it on my way back from GIG in May and anytime I've come back into the country, it was EWR before they had launched the system there. I'm hoping to use it when I do my NRT runs in a few weeks.

Who is the FlyerTalker that put up the funding for that production is what I want to know.

Oh, I forgot to mention: for the EWR/NYC area Boxers that were interested last time when my idea to do so fell apart, there will be a Devils game that I will have group access to. I need to get details from my mother, as I'm piggybacking off of her Rotary group. IIRC the game she picked is Dec. 19th.

She is out of surgery and awake. Things went well but I am still waiting to see her.

They are sending the mass to the lab to be sure, but visually, the tumor looks to be benign.

They are booting her out of here sometime tomorrow. She'll only need crutches for a few weeks.

I am so freaking happy.

Speaking of books, I got two out of the local library, "Confessions of an Economic Hitman" by John Perkins and "The Devil We Know: Dealing with the New Iranian Superpower" by Robert Baer.
