Doing that and the Cosmodrome on the same trip would be phenomenal!

I've been to Monino -- you don't need a travel agent & such. You just need a Russian citizen to take you there. I can probably arrange that.

That's the current plan, even w/ limited resources. I got to take advantage of the time.

Generally, one must provide such accessories oneself.

I can't begin to talk about the rage I'm feeling. The substitute teaching company got caught fudging my paperwork and they have the balls to blame me for it.

What the heck did they do? Can you go directly to the school and show what you submitted so they'll deal with you directly?

Remarkably, this doesn't surprise me.

The "Welcome to Iowa" sign on the way to Eppley did throw me for a bit. I love the part where Council Bluffs and Omaha both rejected them.

What sort of price range?

My ATL-KOA was just over $600 for a B fare.

Yup - that's probably how I'll use mine next year. For some reason, having them makes me feel like I need to burn them.

That's not bad at all. Perhaps I'll use DL to HNL this winter instead of CO and use some of my remaining SWU's before they expire.

Very lame - I was never in a district with a substitute teaching company. In fact, the Superintendent of Schools' office would call me in on my work days as an undergrad ... I subbed ISS (In-school Suspension) and BDP (Behavioral and Development Problems) - both of which received more money - so I could work any day I wanted. Someone was always absent in those two "disciplines". ;)

What does the card you get from that look like? Can I use it with the TSA? It sounds like a good thing to sign up for, but I'm pretty sure I really do not want to submit all the required info.

They are based in Cherry Hill and have been sending every applicant's paperwork through the Gloucester County education office, regardless of where they live. It's supposed to be done by county of residence...but the company does not deal with any schools in Ocean County, so they tried to sneak my stuff into the other office and apparently hope that no one would notice that I don't live in that county. I didn't like the answers I was getting from the company when asking where my paperwork was. The company says not to call the county office to ask for yourself. Now I know why. According to their version of events, it was my phone call that got the company yelled at and other peoples' paperwork rejected as well. I don't believe them. Now they are giving me back my entire application packet and telling me to do it myself via Ocean County. I could very well run out of unemployment due to the delays, which in my mind were caused more by them trying to fudge than by me trying to get answers.

Still waiting.

Went to co.com to look at an asia trip. The web site suggested that my route from Hong Kong to Houston should be:

HKG-EWR-BOG-IAH

It also suggested Cleveland and Dayton as possible routings, but Botota?

Did Scott get a transfer over to Routing to not have to deal with so many questions about the *A transition?

The list looks good. The only one of real question would be LAS? How many US citizens are really flying outta LAS?

I was at first wondering if this had anything to do with *A transition but see that the dates are when CO is still in Skyteam.

That looks very cool!

Just got a tweet that Houston Blood Donors have a chance to win two BF tickets on CO!

In other news, the guy I am dating mentioned to me that he thinks I have sleep apnea. I have felt sluggish over the last couple of months and especially the last couple of weeks. This could be why. I will have to call the doctor and see what he says or recommends. I would hate to find out I have that but then again the blood work was great last week so i can't complain too much.

Scott6067 Sep 16, 2009 1:48 pm

BTW, if anyone has expiring UA domestic 500 mile upgrades and wont need them I would love to use them for you! I booked my DO flights and have a mix of aircraft all with ExPlus or FC. Don't think I have been in UA first except maybe LAS-SFO or reverse back in the day.
