Sadly, that was simplification.

New Garmin in the bagplus1house. Would the kind person who found our Garmin please return it? Many thanks.

I got my Garmin Nuvi 265WT w/bluetooth at Costco for $219. I love it. ^

Actually it looks like a poor config job of the MySQL server.

vBulletin is much better than the piece of software it replaced (Perl anyone?) and while it's high on the database usage side, there's really no way around it when dealing with a large forum. For the most part, it handles the load well.

My experience has been that the vBulletin database interaction includes a lot of full text searches that absolutely hammer a database into whimpering pile of goo. Though, I will say that most of my information is third hand, coming from the server guys over at SomethingAwful who has some 12,000 users online at once during the peak hours. The user count is not quite as high as FT, but I would surmise the usage is on par or higher. SA has been effectively re-writing large portions of vBulliten to replace a lot of the awful database issues. Either way, I would imagine the folks running FT have some work to do.

You're welcome! It's just a screen shot that I cropped down using the Windows Paint program.

I have a Garmin Nuvi (don't know which model, I think it something like a 650???) and I absolutely love it. Now I'll go anywhere, anytime and not have a care in the world about getting lost.

There is a button just to the right of the F12 Key on your keyboard that should read "Print Screen." Any time you press that, it will copy an exact screen shot of what is on your monitor. You can then open up a program like Windows Paint, as cheepneezy suggested, and press the "Ctrl" and "v" keys together. What you just copied will paste itself into that program. Then you can manipulate the image and save it.

As long as he's not as high/mentally unstable as the last cabbie I had, it would be an improvement over last week's airport ride.

Oh and good morning

I just had to drop the popcorn line in the normally very well behaved UA Pilot Q&A Thread. Some yahoo posted a diatribe in there, with CAPS AND EVERYTHING, that is sure to kerfuffle the resident pilots.

It's not pouring here. However, for the past several days, it has been as if a Rain God has squatted his haunches over teh Pit, to constantly shower us with wave after wave of oppressive humidity and mist. If you stay outside too long, you will turn into a prune.
