I'm just wondering if I sent something now it would get lost and forgotten in the hecticness of the end of the day compared to the expected going through everthing first thing in the morning.

Whichever you pick, please remember to account for Comcast sitting on your email for at least a few days.

Unless a decision is very imminent, I can affirm that new projects that come in within an hour of quitting time rarely get acted upon - may be better to send in the morning (can get lost in the shuffle if opened on the Blackberry in the evening).

Where did you end up eating at?

The Crazy Crab in Harbour Town. Crowded, but good (I love the idea of "hushpuppies as bread basket" :) )

The Box is dead this morning. Are we all actually working? :p

Or on vacation, alternatively asleep/at the beach/fighting with a WRETCHED internet connection (I think they're using the same amount of bandwidth that they were 5 years ago with half the number of users...yes, there has been feedback lodged)

Food, of course - and my forthcoming doctorate :D

Not at all. It's very "Before & After" - clever.

WOW! We are having a MONSTER downpour here in Central NJ. I don't think I've seen rain this heavy and this hard for a long time. Pretty spectacular thunder and lightening too.

I'm glad I'm not flying around the NE this week.

I am SO glad I got out of there in time. Hopefully it will get it out of its system before Sunday afternoon.

Tomorrow I'm going on the sales presentation for Marriott Vacation Club (now that I'm old enough/employed/etc.) Not planning on buying anything right now, of course, but it will be good to check out the options and learn more about this whole enterprise. Plus, they give you either $100 in gift certificates or 10K Marriott points (not sure which I should take - SPG's my primary hotel chain but these might come in handy sometime...?). Should be interesting.

Despite all the t-storm talk, The Canuck has just declared this weekend to be a beach weekend.^

The rain at EWR was so bad just now it looked like snow. Very  ... my flight keeps missing its departure deadlines. I can see the gate from the C3 PC and can see no plane there. It's going to be a  trip. I can tell.

I would take the $100 gift card.

The selection of gift cards would have to absolutely suck for me to disagree with this sentiment.

I just FELT the thunder here in the office. I'm on the 29th floor and in the middle of the building. And I felt it. Yowsers.

I was going to arrive over an hour earlier than my coworker. Now I'll be late.

I was assuming they were Marriott gift cards. If they are something else, it would depend on the merchant.

I forgot about the Blackberry effect. That means I have to get up slightly early to make sure I send it so he get's it first thing on a real computer.

The whole PC shook many times. The lightning and thunder was amazingly intense. My flight still shows a 4pm departure -- with no aircraft in sight. <sigh> I'm glad I didn't book on the already-full later flight.

I get to go to the Hilton one in LAS in a few months... all for 2 free nights on the strip and some gambling chips + a $100 Hampton gift certificate.
