How much are the TATL Z fares again? $1400? I might not even take LH on the TATL - trying to decide that now.

Im trying to decide that as well, I may look at award options to and from FRA.

But it will not ne gone before then, so credit to MM will not really help.

On the assumption that the accounts will eventually merge it makes a tiny bit of sense. But not much otherwise.

 is rooling through NJ. From the constant rumble I hear approaching, this is going to be a doozy.

It is likely that I will just use a reward or buy a coach ticket for the TATL. I really don't feel like shelling out $2400-$2800 just for the airfare, no matter how good a value it is, given that I have three other personal European trips to take between now and January.

I think I may go back to IAD-JFK-ZRH-FRA (stopover)-EZE-FRA-ZRH-JFK-IAD.

The costs are really annoying but without the charter you don't get the EWR or JFK events. And I want to attend those.

I do like the European routing for EZE; would you spend time there or just do it for the flights?

Agreed. I really don't want to see DC go away.

I think i'm about set to lock in my itin as JFK-FRA-MUC-SFO-JFK.

Unless someone can give me a compelling reason to do MUC-LAX instead.

Does anyone know if we'll be able to use UA SWUs to get into F since this would be a paid C tix?

fozz Jul 29, 2009 11:47 am

It appears that UA SWUs are valid for upgrades into F, at least based on the UA rules. :)

Thunderstorms approaching EWR...will IAH match, and no, no one cares about CLE.

EBS has been activated for NE Jersey. I was on the edge so not much for me.

Hot and sunny down here on Teh Shore. Looks like the  is going to skirt north of me.

I'm only doing LAX because I have a buddy to visit there and because it is more miles. If I were just going on my own I'd rather spend time in SFO.

And, yes, the UA SWUs should move you into F on the day of departure, assuming inventory.
