Sounds like they cover a lot of ground! I think we'll plan on looking for something similar to that and then possibly do a 1 day car rental to check out Hunter Valley and/or the coast.

Wine Tours

Some highlights from the web page:

We visit either (1) the Hunter Valley Cheese Factory where many award winning cheeses are produced (they also have a special tasting for groups) or (2) the Smelly Cheese Shop at Polkolbin to try some of their vast range of Australian and imported cheeses.
:D

Yes, but was there a Komodo Dragon there?

It was no Gili Motang Indonesia, but there was plenty of wildness.

Does this sound like the Blue Mountain tour you did?

I wonder how many are now unemployed and relying on "the system" to support them?

Of those Katrina refugees who came to Houston (and remain here today), I suspect that at least 75% are currently unemployed and are relying on "the system" for support.

Seriously...has anything good ever come out of the State of Louisiana?

Yeah, it was almost exactly that. Most companies do the same sort of itineraries. I just walked into the Tourist Info office and booked it in there. Im sure the hotel can also help with suggestions for a fee or :-:

Im trying to get the name of the Wine tour the gf went to, her tour was excellent, she also took her mom on the same tour when she went to visit her.

Oh , yeah in that case you need a visa.

Btw, you can take the train to blue mountain if you just want to go to scenic world. The train is actually quite convenient. I heard bus tours can be a bit rushed and you arrive with the other 100000 tourists. We booked a rental car and drove up there ourselves and really enjoyed spending as much time as we wanted. We actually stopped at Featherdale Animal Park longer than blue mountain. Who could resist hugging a Koala and feeding kangaroos and wallabies all day long?!

There is an AA Double RDM promo through the end of the year out for all NY, NJ and CT residents. That's insane. I am very surprised that they are leaving it open that long.

I wonder how much damage I could do on a run to MMer status in 5 months. :D

I may have a problem. Passport expires in Feb 2010. This trip is for Nov. I think I will need to get a new passport before getting the visa from the
Chinese. I think they require 6 months validity before the passport expires, unless I go next week for the visa. @:-)
