This is true. One of the great features of the new Diamond tier is, if "Direct Ticketing Charge Waivers" is what I think and hope that it is, we can make all our bookings over the phone with no charge. That means that we will never need to use delta.com again (unless they have a web booking bonus going) except maybe to change seats.

But they outsourced the new VIP phone line to Afghanistan, so which is better?

I have to go review 6 sigma manufacturing requirements this evening. Because no one else gets it. Even the Asia team that runs this stuff.

So full speed ahead with soccer and football.

Glad he's doing well....is it also full speed ahead with TSA metal detectors?

Just came back from optometrist, my biannual checkup. Now out $600 for glasses and such.

Ever thought about LASIK or PRK? If you want info on it, I work for one of the equipment manufacturers as a clinical specialist and can tell you risks vs. bebefits, which questions to ask when choosing a doctor, etc.

I got my new passport today, it has no stamps
I had 2 years left on my old one and zero space even with the extra pages added. They made me write a letter with the application asking for early renewal :-:

My new passport should be arriving in a few weeks. The last one expired 2 years ago and only had 4 stamps in it. My FM page has one of the trips (EWR-POP) and the second one (PHL-LGW) will go on there probably next week. Don't need a passport when all you do is mostly putter around the east coast

If my Asia team was competent, would I be employed? Discuss.

Took a position with the museum of flight in SEA. I am too broke to ship my car, so I am driving it.

:)

I guess that they could do that but we have been getting Yankee Doodles on the Platinum line in the three or four years that I've been using them.

I do however recall the one time that I was switched offshore when there was some sort of irregularity and realized that I could never patronize this company if that were my normal experience.

Replace "Asia team" with organization-specific terminology ("administrative directors" in my case) and the question has the same answer. ;)

I did have to tell one to quit being a moron earlier today - 7-10 days to process paperwork, when the director had the paperwork in-hand and the customer is in my office waiting. Nice to be an AVP every so often.

Will you be there by opening time on Sunday, August 16 when some of the SeaDooers are planning to hit the place?

At least you weren't told by your own mother "wow, I weighed less than you do right now when I was nine months pregnant with you..." (and okay, she started out at sub-100 lbs, but STILL!)
