Too bad you don't have that stone as an excuse to keep you from going ;)

Agreed. He's getting testy; however. He would drive in it. I told him I'm not comfortable driving in it. It's been extended to 8:15. I realize he doesn't want to stay at work any longer. The car services he's found wants 12 hours notice. Anyone know a good car service in Houston that doesn't need notice?

If he's in town, J. Edward would probably do it for a domestic F roundtrip. :-:

(yo no tengo car).

Sounds like the magnet I provided for your office.

My inability to pee for part of this week might end up being a good chunk of the roundtable discussion...I'd rather discuss that than property taxes and the one cousin who is marrying this DB that no one in teh family likes, and who to add insult to  is getting married on 10/10/10. Said cousin is actually quite cute and could, oh I dunno, make an effort to get by on other than her looks, but nah, that's too difficult.

Indeed sir; a fine maxim to live by. ^ (For those playing along at home, icurhere2 gave me the most awesome magnet while we were in the PHL portion of the Shogun Do. And I quote: "If you find yourself in a fair fight, your tactics stink." :D:D:D:D)

I have decided to make beef stew.

Too bad I can't indulge that much. I have to leave Fianceeland late tomorrow night instead of staying until my customary Monday morning because I have to move furniture on Sunday morning, and pick up a rented 15-foot box truck to do so.

I had pad thai chicken for dinner. :-: It was good.

ConciergeMike Aug 21, 2009 6:29 pm

Mmmmmm. Pad thai is really hard to turn down. We took the 6 year old niece for cheesesteaks tonight.

IAH-OMA usually upgrades easily and it's $198 right now - that's cheaper than a taxi would be - sold! :D (that counts, right?)

Are they getting married 10/10/10 because it's 10/10/10? The same as 9/9/9 like 7/7/7 (that was a lucky day) Are people getting induced on 9/9/9 or 10/10/10 because they want their baby to have that magical day?:rolleyes:

I read that in an Iron Chef tone. It was very funny. At least to me.

I read that as cheesecake. I didn't think that was a balanced meal.

For about a year, I thought sbm12's "Wandering Aramean" was "Wandering Armenian."

Yes. No one ever accused them of being bright.

Nah, cheesesteaks and fries with Reese's cup milkshakes.
