Fiancee's extended family is supposedly coming down to Fiancee World Headquarters for a picnic tomorrow. My excitement is palpable.

Just extended to 7:43. Sorry Plus1!

Plus1 should be posting his perspective from the phone.

Plus1 isn't getting picked up anytime soon. The burbs are flooding. I suggested car service.

A guy can dream. They bring cheap red wine that tastes like a mistake off the grape juice bottling line. Out of the two sets of aunts and uncles, only one of the uncles is someone I can carry on a conversation with. He's a fellow gun nut and a military history guy, and the joke is that he secretly thinks I should have gone after his daughter instead of his niece. He's great. The other ones have the people skills of an eggplant.

Yeah...the worst part is that it is actually much more beautiful than that. But the battery on my decent camera is dead. That was just from my BB.

That was taken from your Blackberry???? WOW! You're a more amazing photographer than I already thought. Did you use a tripod on that? ;)

First, ensure that the beer is safe, then concern oneself with personal safety. What good is surviving if all the beer is gone?

The blessing of survival is further enhanced should you be better armed than the looters.

Agreed. He's getting testy; however. He would drive in it. I told him I'm not comfortable driving in it. It's been extended to 8:15. I realize he doesn't want to stay at work any longer. The car services he's found wants 12 hours notice. Anyone know a good car service in Houston that doesn't need notice?
